    Just a quick stupid question..
I am having a 3 inch lift installed tomorrow on 2020 Tundra Crewmax SR5, for right now I will be keeping the factory rims and tires that came with truck. Will this look stupid, or should I wait and do the whole tire and lift at same time?

    Thank you in advance

It’ll look kinda like a TRD Pro. Drivable for a while but dont wait too long.

    Function before sparkle.
Specifically which lift are you installing? Some 3" lifts aren't really 3" after they settle.

    Just getting started
The sooner you buy new tires....maybe sell the old....that's money in your pocket...

But yeah, I'd wait to do it all at once.

I am doing the 6112 on the 3rd setting, 2.7” for the 4x2 and 5160 in the rear with 1-1/12 rear lift. I skipped the rims since I have pro rims and just added 1.25 Spidertrax spacers. Already installed the spacer but not the lift. Makes the truck look so much better. Money I saved from the rims, I bought the TRD Pro led headlights and DD SS3 fogs. Way better opinion in my opinion.

If friends don't let friends skip leg day then where are these friends and why aren't they helping me find 37's?

Thank you all for the replies, i had the lift put on today and know looking for tires..
I did the 3" rough country block and spacer. Got way to much gap in between the tire and wheel well now. The dealer said I would be able to put on stock rims and would have no issue with 295/70/18.. would this fit?

Thank once again for the response

:deadhorse: Search. Not all trucks are the same. In short, will it fit, yes. Will you have to modify things, yes.

Are you doing 3 inch all the way around? Or is this a 3/1 level type lift

3 all the way around with stock is gonna look funny for a while. The level would look less atrocious but you’re gonna want new tires guaranteed

    Alot of them
Those damn kits ride rough. I ran a Readylift 3/2 spacer kit on my 2013 for a year and a half until I got tired of it beating me to death. Switched to coilovers and shackles and alot happier.

I think it drives the same as before I lifted it..Even wife and friend told me they didn’t notice a different in the ride..Now I am not saying it will be the same ride after I get tires. But as for now I cannot tell the difference. Plus getting nervous, Labor Day I am towing my TT to PA for the long weekend. Don’t know how it’s going to do after tires and lift was installed…

I have the same lift and same size tires. The lift rides the same as stock and I haven't had any issues. Enjoy your new toys.

Man I love the look of that, and I wanted the color so bad, but I need the truck ASAP and that color they couldn’t get for me at the time..Is that a TRD or SR5?

Thank you, its actually the Rough Country 3.5" that comes with upper control arms. But yes front strut spacer and rear blocks and 295/70/18 tires. I'm happy with it.
