Switch-Pro installed, opted to mount it on a piece of trim near steering wheel instead of the typical behind shifter.
First accessory wired up are the Baja Designs XL Sport's attached to back of the hood with SDHQ brackets.

How do you like the Kenwood? I've got a new '21 Tundra coming and and think I'd like to swap that unit in.

So far I'm loving the Kenwood, I did a lot of research and for the features I wanted (Wireless Carplay, large screen) it had great remarks including the screen being more responsive than other brands. The load up is a little on the slow side but not terrible, as far as settings go its very robust I had the local car audio shop tweak the settings for me to achieve some great results with the upgraded speakers I installed as well.

Right on. Did you install yourself or the audio shop? I'm trying to figure out the correct install kit, maestro, etc. Not sure what I need entirely. Still researching.

Did the install myself, Crutchfield will tell you everything you need and they ship quick if the items are in stock.

Perfect, thanks again. Out of stock at Crutchfield's but in at Best Buy. I'll order all the accessories from Crutchfield.

The install kit on Crutchfield says it does not support bluetooth, satellite radio or nav. Do you think that's listed because they are provided directly the head unit?

    You have those functions?

Sorry...for some reason I can't paste the link.

As far as nav goes I just use the Carplay feature with my iphone (similar for android) to which provides navigation on the headunit as well, but the headunit comes with a GPS antenna which is said to be better than stock so I installed that and ran it to the middle speaker area of the dash (since I removed the middle speaker as well).
Bluetooth you will have to run and install the included microphone, the stock bluetooth won't work with the new headunit.
I don't bother with satellite radio but the Headunit does have Sirius built in so I think that works.

Thanks again for all the info! My orders are in....and i'll have everything before my truck rolls in.

I'm going to have some similar items to yours on my new ride as well: Stormtrooper, Fox 2.5 DSC coil-overs up front and 2.5 DSC in the rear. Debating a leaf spring replacement and researching that now. Will run my current Method Mesh 18" with 285/65R18 Wild Peaks for now. I'll move into 295/70R18 Wild Peaks next spring.

I'll be adding a RTT next spring as well. Just had a kiddo this past December and will finally hit the trails again.

It'll be a busy and fun fall working on the build!

    Cheers!

No problem, you'll have a nice rig on your hands!
I haven't had the desire to do any leaf spring replacements yet, maybe someday.

So my grille came off an XSP edition tundra, I was told that’s an east coast dealer special.

I’m having the same issue, really need that grill and cannot find it. If anyone does plz forward a link. I’ve found other versions shown online but not nearly as cool as this one, and none ever for sale. Must have to buy used from an owner wanting to swap for a different grill.

Yea this grille wasn't something you could buy/order, came on trucks and I got lucky to find someone who wanted the TRD Pro grille instead so they just resold it ($100 too!) ;)

Damn. Well I’m on the hunt regardless. I’ll find it if it kills me! The fam swears they don’t like either Pro grill, and I have a black platinum. As I remove anything not black, that grill sticks out. I’ve thought of plastidip but not sure I’ve seen one I’m actually impressed with, looks cheap. Hoping someone proves me wrong cuz that’s an easy job

You'd be surprised how well plastidip holds up, I did my rear bumper and its taken over 2yrs to start showing signs of wear, but I have ordered a C4 rear to replace that so I wont' bother replastidipping ;)
