I’ve been looking at ideas for storage, best way to cover the bed or we’ll just some way to carry my tools and equipment around. Most of the reviews I’ve read about the decked system were good. Some bad. I can say it did go together pretty simply. Just gotta read the directions well.

When I started to prep the bed and removed the tie downs I did have to go back and paint the area’s behind where the OE tie down were. Bare metal no good. Anyway here are some pics of the install.

Looks good! I may be thinking about a DECKED system when I get a rack.

Pretty much a storage system that still allows you to utilize your bed. 2000lbs payload on top of the DECKED system, as well as 2 full sized drawers for all your essentials. www.decked.com

Gotcha. The drawers make more sense. I guess it threw me off without seeing them. All I could picture is stuff sliding to the front where it couldn’t be reached. Lol

It is a tool storage system. Has 2 drawers that when the tailgate is closed and locked is pretty secure. Comes with two tool boxes for smaller tools/stuff. Seems to be like advertised as far as watertight.
    Guess a pic didn’t upload.

Like your username. Mine turned white at about 30. I’m 47 now. The other day a young person asked if I bleach it to keep it that white. Almost fired that kid….

It’s grey when I have one. Wife doesn’t care for it though.

These look awesome. Couple of questions though:

Tie-downs have to be removed for this install?

Did you weigh your truck before and after install to know the change to your overall payload capacity?

How has your mpg changed since install & loading this up?

Where are your tie-down points now?

On the tie downs, yes, per the manufacture they are to be swapped with what decked provides.
On weighing my truck.no I didn’t. Although I don’t think the system weighs enough to cause problems. As far as mog’s, it’s a truck..
With what I have done to the truck, my mog’s run the same.
