Been MIA for a bit. Worked on the truck slowly throughout the work week.

Changed to 13WL brakes throughout the week. Buttoned up yesterday. Not today.

Changed inner rack ends, and outer tie rods with moog rack boots today. Steering rack bushings too. Made an extractor tool at work in little bit of downtime that didn't work. Ended up burning out and popping out with a hammer instead of using the tool. I got the dimensions wrong.

Had new help... actually was helpful this time even though the pictures don't look like it.

Will try to catch up with threads, and PMs when I can. Sorry all.

The only thing we have that would fit an 00-06 would be some of our light. I'm sure those tie downs would fit because they are not vehicle specific.

Just a metal tube similar to a ball joint press cup. I cut the tube too long, but my F-clamp was too long also so I'm going with gut instinct on cup being too long.

Honestly, the longer horizontal bushing popped right out with a few whacks from a hammer, and a 1/2" drive extension. The little vertical bushing required more persuasion. I used a map gas torch to heat up the metal tube that runs through it, and a 1/2" drive T55 torx to beat it out of the steering rack.

    A 1 beer job.

The holes on my bed were a little off on the 4th one and the bracket with the nut behind the tail light was bent outwards. I beat it back in place and drilled the backside of the anchor out a little bit to get it to fit. Tried all 4 anchors on the other 3 corners with no issues. Can safely say the issue was local to my bed. The Cali raised tie downs fit with no issues

Cali raised’s oem style switches, and usb charger outlet will fit in a double cab/sequoia also

It's really not. The hardest part is putting the rack back on. I thought changing the inner, and outer tie rods was easier than putting the rack back on, and the sway bar because I had to take it off to have enough room to get the rack back to beat bushings out.

Did you pull the steering shaft and is it necessary? I can make tools, i like to see how other people make tools, too.

No, steering shaft stays in place. Use jack stands to support the weight of the rack so you aren't stressing the lines going into the rack.

I got to work on my fog lights. I tried buying the Caliraised brackets. The brackets seem like that will be a good option for some. I already have the lights I want to use, which they will not work with. The mounting does not line up with the Baja Designs Squadrons. There would be a small gap on the sides of the brackets and the front bumper. It's pretty minimal and I think you could trim the top and bottom of the bezels to fit them to the bumper better. They seem solid and I like that they screw to the adjustment hole in the back of the bumper.

@Cummins3500 good suggestion on the brackets. They would work nicely if you have certain pod lights that fit in the brackets.

I decided to modify the bezels that I had and ended up cutting the backs off so I could put the bolt through the adjustment hole. The front of the bezels secures to the bumper and the light itself is pretty snug against the bezel and holds in place pretty well so far.

Then I killed one of my Duratracs hitting wrecked RV debris last week. Discount Tire replacement certificate FTW. Unfortunately bent the wheel and jacked the alignment, BIG piece of wood/metal but the tire held together very well, far better than the GMC next to me.

Found a place with the older airaid intake in stock, price is what it should be, ordered and supposedly being shipped tomorrow, fingers crossed I finally get it because then I can install literally half the intake… that’s all I wanted. LOL

No mod at all, the airaid intake setup uses the MIT. The tube from the intake fits with the stock box.

I kind of feel bad using these nice surgical/medical reducers for my exhaust! But hey when eBay lays a deal in your lap, you zip your pants up and buy it!
Most exhaust reducers I looked at were 20-30$ and 20$ shipped. I randomly found these for under 10$ a piece and 5-7 shipped!
Laid some buggars down to hold them on and took a test drive: liked the results so far. Still need to get on the freeway and see if the RPMs bump up then settle down when slight throttle is given. In town it seems to be a nice input to output feeling so far! 8674EDE9-9DDC-4343-985C-020D8ABC68CF.jpg3515A44E-AB66-4103-834A-14345589546E.jpgDA0299CB-7218-4F31-9EB2-A543BFD69385.jpg

I saw a tundra for sale local with a Ivan Stewart grille. I tried to make a deal with them to get just the grille. They said the truck is sold and gone ... Someone is a happy owner of a black tundra with a sweet IS grille... If you show up here, give me dibs if you don't want it.

Has anyone ever installed a double cab p/s pump on a reg/access cab? The inlet hose is larger. I have a brand new oem pump laying around I’m thinking about installing since I’m doing all the lines anyways (leaking everywhere at this point) the double cab pump technically should flow more yea?

But in other news, installed the 130a alt @Tundradrenalin sent for the cost of shipping (thanks again!) installed new brushes to be safe. So far everything looks good, voltage is more stable.
