    Got out this weekend to shoot my new AR with my son. . .
    The open sights that came on it were impressive. I could consistently hit a 2" diameter can at 100' with no adjustment.

    Yeah, we only shot about 50 rounds. I just wanted to get a little shooting in with him before he went back to college. We also shot some old medical textbooks that my wife was finally getting rid of (she's been an NP for 24 years and hasn't opened these up in over 20). Not sure how to post the video. The .223 round went all the way through two 3 1/2" thick books and lodged just inside the cover of the third one. My son loved that.
