Started yet another project before finishing the other 2-3 I have going. Had some metal water jetted and bent to the contour of the bed. Here are a few teaser shots. More details to come.

Also got tired of hauling around 6x6 and 4x8 wood blocks to go under the trailer jack of our travel trailer, so I am fabricating a one piece stand that the tongue jack will slide into.

Mounted on a N fab light bar. I too wanted something different from what all the other Tundras are wearing. I am a little old school with things like round fog lights and a little chrome to pop in the sun.

Might be a stupid question....but did you have to remove all the wheels to do this?

I see way to many gravel roads and rocks to not have a hood deflector. Debating on getting it wrapped in white.

    Me too

In fact I live on a gravel road with a mile long gravel driveway. Maybe clear 3m it

Lower doors see the most gravel abuse on mine.

Got the sdhq sensor guards on. Took a little over 3 hours from start to finish. 5 mins to gather up tools. 3 hours of yard work my wife made me do before working on the truck. Then 5 minutes to finish putting them on.

Well sense I didn't get to go to Sedona this weekend. I installed my painted bumper ends and baja design fog lights. Love the look and those lights are flipping bright.20170430_182842.jpg 20170430_182852.jpg

IMG_3029.jpg Installed OE style color matched fender flares last night purchased from Sparks. I really like the bolt on application. The rims are only +20 offset so I like the low profile but still have adequate coverage. I put the bushwacker flares on my old Duramax and had to drill holes to install them, yet another let down GM, glad to be back in a yota.

Got my rear shocks on yesterday. Definite improvement in ride so far but not near the drastic difference I noticed after installing the Coachbuilder shackles and bushings.

Next on the list are shims up front.

my truck is getting a Line X liner and I'm also having the color matched bumpers done.....Hated them bumpers...pics to follow.

Well he told me it was going to be 400 bucks for my bumpers so I opted out of those......I didn't think you all wanted a pic of another line x bed...LOL

Well fellas, this might be the last days with the blue beast. Dealer let me know they had a 16 Inferno Crewmax w TRD Off-road Package Coming in on trade.

My truck is a 4.6L double cab SR5. I really wish I had a crewcab and 5.7 and now might be the time to pull the trigger. The only color I'd trade this truck for is Inferno.

Think the dealer will have any interest in my truck with all my extras on it? I wouldn't mind swapping over the wheels, tires and headlights.

If it was me I'd pull every accessory you might want on your new truck before the dealer even looks at your current ride(if possible). Even if you don't end up using all the accessories pulled you can sell them to your fellow Tundra brothers and still come out ahead. Just my .02

Good color choice...I love my inferno.

Damn...in that case if you have good communications with the dealer tell them you want to swap lights, wheels and whatever else you want with the inferno truck. Dealers will do most anything, within reason, to get a sale.

Unless of course you want to start a new build totally, and I completely understand that.

Problem is your wheels won't fit on a stock truck without a lift. So you can't swap on the spot. But you need to sell that grille and swap it with someone with a blue. Maybe same with the lights.

Agree. Did the same with my Taco before I had it valued at the dealer. Worse case is that the deal doesn't happen and you have to put it all back on. Small price to pay to get you some case on the sale of what you pulled and and won't/can't use on the new one. Good luck, buddy.

I would talk with the dealer. Headlights are a pretty easy swap.
Can't remember what you had on for a lift but maybe get dealer to install another then you can swap the rims/ tires.
For my last trade, my dealer let me install the dual exhaust the same day I signed the paperwork. Other then have to drive 2.5 hours, I really like dealership.

Good luck with the trade. The power difference between the 4.6 to the 5.7 is awesome.

The only thing I am unhappy with is that they don't include new bushings or cup washers. Drivers side was missing the bottom washer so I had to manufacture another. Luckily a neighbor had old ones from years or being a mechanic.

This was waiting at the front door when I got up this afternoon.

Debadge looks great, after washing mine this weekend I to decided I'm going to debadge it. The emblems on these trucks are pretty bulky looking.
