Had a ‘19 Black TRDPro with 36k and two repaired accidents and looked very good. The dealer had a ‘21 limited army green TRD off-road DC coming in I asked for giggles how much they would give me for my pro and they gave me 50 K trade-in and sold me the limited for 48300. I paid 51250 for it originally. I personally missed the extra bed length and didn’t use that backseat on the crew max for more than about 10 times in the three years I had it. Plus now I have all the sensors, Blindspot monitoring a decent radio heated seats, etc. I extended my payment from the 2 1/2 years I had left to three years and paying $20 more a month. They currently have my truck listed for 55700. As mentioned previously I am finding it hard to understand how people will buy these vehicles at these prices but you’ll never see them again new so maybe that’s why.

I know this is an old comment, but I was told a few days ago by a Toyota dealer service rep that Toyota isn't charging much more for the new vehicles when selling to the dealer. The gouging is almost entirely done by the dealership.

I absolutely agree that these dealerships are gouging customers. But these guys are in a bad way with the lack of vehicles to sell. Not selling cars doesn’t keep the lights on. Which unfortunately always hurts the consumer…

I hope that I am wrong and your service rep is right because I don’t wanna see high prices. Fords MSRP’s are insane I hope that Toyota doesn’t follow suit.

Thanks! What’s crazy is I bet they tacked on their standard $4K markup (or so I’ve been told) and turned around and sold it for $53K!
