    Hello friend's!

    I have found someone who was so nice to send me his old tweeters! Thank you so much!

    My front left tweeter seems to have finally gone out unfortunately. It's gotten a real bad buzz when there's any bass. I don't really have the means to do the Taco tunes upgrade I have planned right now. The buzz is driving me absolutely insane and I am trying to just find a JBL front tweeter to drop in to fix it for now. The trouble is I just can't find any for sale

    I don't suppose anyone has a JBL front tweeter for sale? Absolutely willing to pay for shipping and cost.

    You could pull the tweeter out and replace the capacitor next to it. A buzzing tweeter may just have a partially shorted cap allowing too much low frequency signal to pass. A new cap is likely less than $1.

    That's something I certainly didn't know. I'm going to pull the sail panel tomorrow and take a peek. I have a suspicion it is blown. Hopefully you're right. I was playing some pretty bassey music at a volume that's was probably not good for my hearing just a few days prior to noticing the buzz...

Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
    If its blown, just disconnect it until you have a replacement.

    Sometimes an annoying problem makes you miss the obvious solution. I do that shit all the time. :D

    For now it'll have to do. Still looking for a replacement though. I won't have the spare money for a big install for quite some time so I'll need a factory replacement for at least another 6 months. But thank you for the quick fix :)

    I still have the 4 that I took out of my 08. Nothing I will use again.I know at least one was messed up taking it out.
