Hi I just received my 6112 and I ordered them at 1.9 setting. Can someone tell me if this is the correct setting. I was under the impression that there were 3 settings 1.3 to 2.5. So shouldn’t this be in the middle.
    Thank you in advance

You're good :thumbsup:there's actually 4 settings. .75-1.3-1.9-2.5 you were probably thinking of Bilstein 5100's

Nope. 4 settings. Yours is on 1.9, which is the 3rd from the bottom.

Checking to see if you have installed them yet? If so, I wanted to see how you were liking them? Mine are in the mail and I can't wait to get them installed. I have some 5160's coming for the rear. Currently running the Hitachi stocks with a 2 inch leveling kit. Can't wait to get to shed them.

I just got back from a test drive after installing my 6112’s at 1.9”, and I really miss the clapped out old TRD Bilstiens with 13 years and 255,000 km of use…

…NOT!!! They work not too pretty bad, eh!!

Are you still at stock height on the back? If so, did the 1.9 setting get you pretty much level?

Stock height rear, was 1/2” nose-high at first, it’s settled to just about level after a drive. Based on measurements before, I should have 1/4 -1/2” rake in the end, once settling is over and done.

I’m adding airbags next to be able to hold the height out back with a load / trailer

Nice! 1.9 is what I'm going to be shooting for so that is good to hear. I don't care about having a slight rake. Just want to be as close to level as possible. I do tow occasionally, but it's usually not for long periods of time. Usually at most a 40 to 50 mile trip with my 22ft Bay boat attached or a 100 mile or so trip with my ATV on a small trailer during hunting season. I'm just looking forward to the quality of the ride changing. I've yet to take mine off road since I've only had it a few weeks, but I live in an old city with terrible streets. My Z71 doesn't even like driving down them. A lot of them are concrete streets that are aligned with 200 to 300 year old live oaks that have massive roots jolting the streets up in spots. There are probably streets in Rome built during the Roman Empire that are in better shape.

I had them installed but had to go out of town right away. Haven’t really had a chance to drive it much right now, but the brief rides I did have show a tighter ride not so much firm if that makes sense. The original platinum shocks were bouncy and squishy these are more planted. I decided to not add a shim to the front drivers side and I’m second guessing it now. The drivers side is 1/2 inch lower but you can’t see it with the naked eye. I only found out by measuring. i don’t think I will go through the hassle of adding a shim since you would need to take the whole thing out. I’m very please with how it all turned out.
Now I didn’t experience the OMG this is the most amazing experience I have ever witness as others have stated on this forum but it’s definitely a big improvement. :)

more than I can list here
Your truck will lean to the driver side by almost an inch with your coilovers set like that.

the cure is to either take a notch down on passenger or add a notch to driver side.

Probably doesn't matter now but there 2 different high setting for those shocks. The 4x4 have a different setting than the 4x2. The 4x2 ride higher on any given position. Luckily I found this out before and adjusted them. Just an FYI for the 4x2 people.
