I used two little 14 bars. I have the smitty M1 so I don’t know if it will work quite as well.
Originally I had tried a single 40” bar but you couldn’t get to lower latch.
The two smaller ones solve that and are a little less “blingy”. I tapped into my bumper lights.
Looks better than the gap but I don’t ever see myself “needing” a high out put light bar.

OME Nitrocharger/2612 (front), Bilstein 5100s (rear). Vanguard roll bar modified (by me) to fit over Patriot Stealth retractable tonneau. Aftermarket halo headlights with HID, various LED bulb replacements. 17" Fuel Blitz wheels with some 33" Nitto terra grapplers. Hoodscoop, nfab nerfbars, Bushwacker flares. No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
There's a thread on here somewhere, but to put it short, there are grille inserts available that provide the same look without having to deal with the gap of the sequoia conversion.

Previous 2nd Gen owner here. That gap drives me nuts. I’m pretty sure they make a similar grill for the 2nd Gen and you can put old school toyota lettering on the grill

Also not a fan of the gap either…I have another option but it’s a Alibaba part and has the fake sensor.

I've found the only one who even notices the gap is the truck owner. :)

You gappers are pissing me right off. I love the grill but hate the gap. Then you go and say something like this…

But I’d stare at that gap and I’d lose sleep over it. Putting weather stripping under it would make me even worse. Looks almost awesome

Sequoia grille looks far better with a gap that nobody notices than any gen2 grille that I’ve seen..

I would say just keep the current grille if it bothers them that much because they've had it for over a decade now so why change it up now? :monocle:

Hi I know it’s a pretty old post but I was wondering if you had any link to the bumper valence LED lights or a build thread on that? I want to put an LED bar on it I was thinking cutting about cutting the dividers to make it a full bar look to it. Any help would be awesome thanks in advance!

yea it was 15% off plus free shipping on orders over $500 dollars.

Ended up spending $1150 for headlights and fogs after taxes.
