Have a retrofit set of lights on for a few years now. Haven't had issue. I had originally cut the DRL switchback wire, and reconnected it a few weeks ago. Since, i've been noticing a problem.

If my headlights are on, and i manually turn them off, they then won't turn back on unless I turn the car off, and restart it. All other lights work fine (LED strip, parking light, etc). When I turn the lights back on and they dont fire, the switch back operates properly.

(For the record, i've checked all wiring, haven't found anything. And I think the use case of when the lights are on, and i shut off, and then won't turn back on is the right scenario, but it didn't dawn on me till last night).

This may be total stoner gibberish above

That's next step, disconnect switch back. It was such a royal pain in the ass to get reconnected i'm hesitant lol

sent a PM - but I'd also triple check grounds if there's the slightest chance you disturbed them when you were reconnecting the SBs. Can't express in words quite how sensitive these are to stupidly clean grounding.

Yea. I’m gonna go through all the wiring under the hood this weekend. Have wondered if maybe that’s it. I off road a lot so it gets very dirty and things bounce around a bit.

I went out to test my theory today. Of course. Everything worked fine

so, things had worked fine for a few days. Today i noticed passenger headlight wouldn't work. Found a lose ground wire. Recrimped the wire and bolted it back down....while doing that, there was a small spark. Thought nothing of it. Now neither don't work.

I went and ordered a new relay https://www.amazon.com/Morimoto-Bi-...last&qid=1550875250&s=gateway&sr=8-4-fkmrnull

@tomsinamerica appreciate the offer, figure ordering a new relay Amazon prime was the fastest route for me.

Well. I lied. They fired up. But when I toggle them on and off. They don’t go back on.

    And won’t go back on.

Is there a resting period for these things I’ve never been aware of?

So, this problem is back for me. Low beams just won't turn on. High beams work fine. Sometimes if i leave the high beams on for a bit, the low beams will start working. When you do turn the high beams off, the low beams stay on for about .25-.5 seconds.

I have no idea what I did to fix them last go around.
