So, the Cryo-REM allowed me to alleviate some of the break in time but I’m still taking it easy.
I did take a scoot around tonight and WOW!

I can’t wait to really get into it, but the 5.29s and Powertrax are cherry.

Feels so planted and man it giddy ups!

What tailgate seal did you use? That looks like it fills the gap better than what I’ve found searching so far.

I agree w/ @CoachJ . I've got 20% on front 2 and 50% on the windshield. I drive quite a bit at night and I love it, just takes some of the glare off.

Kudos to y'all making the brave plunge to tint your front windshields. I wish I could. But alas, I commute on a road that is traveled frequently by dump trucks, and even though I put plenty of distance between me and the ones in front of me, it's the ones coming at me that cause me to have to get my windshield replaced about once a year, so I'd be at the tint shop the same amount.

What did I do today, well, I broke my stupid fender liner things again, I did the always on fog light mod, and I adjustedy fogs so hopefully people stop flipping me off.

Don't think any percentage of window tint is legal up here in communist Canada I've never seen it up here.

You might be able to find a glass shop that can tint your replacement beforehand or at least during the install.

Definitely a difference, but IMO it’s a good thing. The glare is cut down and driving through 110° in the sun didn’t feel brutal even though it was directly on the windshield.

The the tint I did isn’t legal here in California.

Worth the risk… and peer feedback is that trucks are usually left alone.

Are the FT fog lights mod similar for the 21s?

Some time back I noticed that the wind noise is down when I remove my Leer cap for dirty/oversized hauling. The thought was the cabin-cap gap creates a tunnel for parasitic air flow towards the roof, where air masses moving at highway speeds create a very low static pressure. That sucks air from the frame area. Maybe, maybe not :) But the noise is here as soon as I put the cap back.

Two days ago I installed +1" shackles, that somewhat recovered the stock Tundra's rake. Immediately it became apparent the wind noise is gone.

Still thinking on aerodynamics and where that noise was really coming from, but here's the observation: slight rake equals to quieter truck on highway.

Installed a Corsa exhaust today. I had a redneck special magna flow installed and it droned a lot and was very annoying. The Corsa is quiet and no more drone. Corsa sounds great when you get on it. 0B9EC9BD-CBE7-4D4B-AFF8-409582CB1582.jpg3AA7908D-743B-4173-91E2-718CB4AE5471.jpg6B3D0E90-23CD-4694-8161-B4CB384DCDB7.jpg

So far, the Auxbeam 8 gang switch panel is really promising.

Build quality definitely feels solid, switches has a nice click feeling to it, backlight is real nice!

Installed Go Rhino RB20. They stick out further than I like, just have to get to use them I guess. Also the passenger side had some damage where the foam wrapping was at so it was packed damaged. Will give them a call tomorrow.

Yeah that why I sent mine back and went with the Tyger steps. I had 2 bad ones and was not going thru for a third. And did not like how close they sat against the lower rocker panel. Also the finish on my Tyger steps so much better with the bed liner finish.

    Not something I’d consider significant…

I only did a light smoke… so definitely not as dark as many of the other options out there.

    Around 12 before gears.
    I tow a lot.
My guess is gears will help.

    I have a D.A.P. tune as well.

I do drive it like a sports car from time to time.
    That way gets about 10mpg.o_O

The windshield tint will reduce light visibility some. I have 50% on mine and I'll try to get some pics in the morning from inside when it's dark.

Replaced the carbon fiber look handle covers with the AJT’s. These wrap around the handle and hide 99% of the silver unlike the ones I got off eBay that showed quite a bit. These fit very well though!

I’m thinking I really like that bumper! Do you have more pictures from different angles? I could find many online. Also, does it have the Tyger logo and the Tyger stars anywhere on the bumper? I like most of the Tyger stuff, but really dislike how prominent their branding is.

Preparing to do my first oil change (first 3 were done at the dealership).

Is anyone familiar with a video showing the oil change with a TRD skid plate but not removing it? I'm considering buying a TRD skid plate but am skeptical about that little trap door in the TRD skid plate being big enough to get the filter out easily and without massive amounts of oil spilling all over.

I have a stock skid plate that's been lowered with the spacers for a diff drop. I'd like to install a skid plate once and then not have to deal with it each time I change the oil. Maybe it's not possible but that's why I'm investigating.
