Toyota is always so clever with their subtle hints. Take the low phone battery- signifying the constant low battery dash light you’ll see in the new Telsundra :)

If you consider 90% battery life to be low, that's a "glass half empty" extreme I've never seen.

Depending on the state you live in, and how enthusiastic they are about mask mandates hiding that duct tape is pretty doable I think.

I don't think it'll be too long before every manufacturer will make the V8 obsolete in their 1/2 tons .
Ram is already talking about putting an inline 6 in their trucks .
So in that sense Toyota was first for sure .

Isn’t that what downshifting in sport mode is for? I always downshift on steep declines to save brakes in the mountains.

This came up in a TFL video as well. Are trucks supposed to sense downhill speed and somehow know to downshift?

The issue to me isn't that if I start coasting downhill, that it's not reading my mind and downshifting to begin braking. It's (admittedly sometimes, not everytime) that after pressing the brakes 2 or 3 times as I'm coasting downhill, it still doesn't downshift unless I throw it in sequential shift.

The other thing is the t/c seems to default to unlocked. I won't pretend that I understand how t/c automatics work, but coming from a manual trans previously, this thing wants to coast in what feels like neutral every chance it gets. The only way I can describe it is even when I'm downshifting in sequential shift, it's like there's an inverse relationship to pressing the gas and pressing the clutch. It's as if I come off the gas and the clutch is immediately pressed in and I'm coasting in neutral.

Funny...my wife showed me the label on one of my sons shirts. It literally read, “Please remove child before washing”.

I recently used a drill/tap that had a "prop 65" warning for cancer on it. I kinda imagined people have been putting drill/taps in places they don't belong, so it became necessary to place a warning on it.

I mean...we do live in a world where you can find instructions for use on a *sponge.*

In general if you've got a sponge in your hands and you're struggling to figure out how to use it, I dunno what to tell you. LOL (Not you, of course...the general 'you.')

They could apply an "abduction victims recovery fund tax" to it. Never pass up an opportunity for a new tax!

Don’t we have to limit liability at some point? There’s a hell of a lot of legalistic protectionism going on.

Have you seen the world lately?

In the immortal words of George Carlin (at least I think it was Carlin) think about how dumb the average person is and then realize that half of the people are dumber than that.
