Looking back, I see the difference now. I didn’t even notice that at first.

I like the track you have installed, might need to look into that for mine since I lost the ability to use the stock tie downs without modding the knob to clear the tonneau.

How can you tell? I'm fairly certain I dinked my clamp but I can get a good one from work to replace it if needed (caterpillar). What makes you say the gasket isn't seated right?

Not trying to sound like a dick with these questions just genuinely curious as I might have the same issues and not know it

So I got under there and fixed the way the tailpipe was seated/coupled with the DD. Gasket seemed tight, tailpipe is sitting out of the rear where it should etc. but I still have that same size gap between the clamp and the pipe on the tail side? Everything seems ok, maybe I did bend the clamp?

It’s not going anywhere but should the clamp fit snug like a sleeve?

Mine looks the same, and the few pictures I saw that showed a clamp look similar. I think it's just the design of the clamp but could be wrong

Seems like the clamp is sort of bent in like that to form around the pipe as its tightened. Mine didn't form great (isn't a perfect circle around the flange) but I can't overly notice a leaky sound or anything.

If you need anything from RockyMounts, it looks like stuff is back in stock. Finally got the SplitRall add-on that's been out of stock forever, and on sale.

Ordered yesterday. Delivered this morning. Free shipping.

I saw somewhere on here a guy installed this and a pop lock so when he pressed the unlock button 3 times the tailgate opened automatically. I think that's the route I'm going to go if I can find his thread again.

Patiently waiting for my second ROAM box to ship. I have the hardware ready. It's great having the box up there - grab on the side rail of the Prinsu rack, jump up on the tire, and you have immediate access to a ton of shit. Master lock on the middle buckle and still clears the 7'2" clearance at the car wash.

I believe he used the oem power lock and a separate pop lock solenoid to do it.

Check the build link in my signature.
Requires a separate lock solenoid, and if I recall correctly, a third party module to receive and interpret the third press of the unlock button.

Install of the factory tailgate lock is pretty easy. Lots of steps in the instructions, but most of them are about where to route the wiring. They make them really easy to follow - so just follow the steps and you’re GTG.

Thanks! They’re not bad. Not sure how much I’ll use the lift-up feature, but it’s good to have though the screen area is quite small. I already bought one fan and will probably have to add another to spend any time back there. Once I get my truck vault installed (next month), I’m hoping to add a camper-shell roof rack/platform and an awning. I sold my jeep thinking I was done with mods…NOT!

I installed a used mountain hatch courtesy of @SwampThing , and new Hirev LED taillights since my old Spyder ones broke and straight up fell out of my truck.

    20210730_124444.jpg 20210730_123954.jpg

And I did my own DIY diff breather install with a slightly different style breather, and ran it up behind the driver side taillight. I didn't want to put a stock breather back on, and I hate those cheap little air filters from AutoZone. So I used one of these brass pneumatic "mufflers". It flows freely, won't rust, and won't seize up and close like the factory one can. I have a few extra in case anybody wants one.

I like the brass pneumatic muffler idea. I see you used 5/16" fuel line. Did you use a 5/16" brass muffler as well or go up to 3/8"?

I actually used a 1/8" male NPT that I was able to get for cheap on Amazon. The outer dimensions were pretty perfect for the 5/16" fuel line. It was a tight fit, but using a wrench I was literally able to screw it in. The zip tie is all but not needed.

I can probably throw one in an envelope and it would probably mail with just a regular stamp! Otherwise, if you want your own extra, I found this pack of 5 on Amazon for only a few bucks . https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01COEE2RQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
