What have you done to your 2nd gen Tundra today?

My weathertechs have been great. What am I missing?

 

I feel ya, in a way I think it’s kind of a “6 one way, half dozen the other” type of deal with these shorter than stock antennas…

 

There's no getting around antennae length. I have one of those vofono 13" ones that works okay in flatland metro areas but had to go back to the whip cause I live in the mountains.

Put on the bambi-basher, can't decide if I want to put on the headlight protector "wings"...

 

Love the scoop on that hood custom made or did you buy a whole new hood? Also the filler panels where did you get them?

I say no on the headlight guards. But yes on adding some red and blue lights inside top windshield and pull some people over lol

 

The hood scoop is a Mr.HoodScoops hs009, MrHoodScoop Hood Scoops in stock now! painted or unpainted. Free Shipping Call 716-785-3714 or Shop online. the only version they sell anymore (they used to have more). I like the 009 the best, but its also a bit of a pain in the ass to install. If you decide to get one, have them paint it, its cheaper than a good local shop (found out the hard way, but spending local is always good). Gotta warn ya though, it'll set ya back about 300+ (totally worth it to me, love it).

By filler panels I'm guessing you mean the LED fender extensions? Think I got mine off ebay for about 75 (not a true 040 white, but damned close). As for adding red and blues, . My brother is a cop, and he already wants to steal the truck from me.

 

The amazonians were pretty quick with this one. I'll be trying it out today and will let yall know if it's any better than my decidedly less stubby.

 

The one on the passenger side doesn't stay in place. It slides forward and gets deformed so that it curls up near the kick panel. At least that's what mine does.

 

Wonder if you can get the clips to secure them?

My weather techs have a cutout for what I thought were OE mat retainers (for the front seats anyway). Dont have an issue with the rear moving around at all

 

Yeah exactly that for me too. The grey also got really stained and ugly and I couldn't seem to clean it.

I just wish I didn't have to buy a second product to fix the problems with the Weathertechs.

Once I'd paid good money for the Weathertechs I wish that I had the EagleKlaws from the beginning. It would have saved a lot of frustration.

I have these in my 370z. Great mats with Velcro type grip on the back.
They are 3D MaxPider as others confirmed.

 

Finally deleted the chrome steps I tried to bring them back to life no luck. Plastic had been burnt from the sun and the chrome was all scratched up. Either way I feel like there’s a natural half inch lift and I’m loving it!

 

I finished my bed rack and front receiver-mounted material support today. Now I can carry full sticks of steel.

 

Spent a few bucks on maintenance. Bumper to bumper oil change. Cheers to another 100k

 

Is that chrome rear bumper next ?

 

After your help with the side mirrors it’s just been chop after chop slowly but surely

 

I feel ya, I live out on the plains with most of the good stations being 60+ miles away. If this one doesn’t work I may try and find something closer to stock length.

 

Did the rock light install, 3” coachbuilder shackles, inner tie rods, and alignment…

I can't say that I would ever put underbody lights on one of my vehicles, but man something about that is ridiculously cool!

Can't put my finger on it...maybe because it's green...

 

They're rocklights, we put them on so we can see rocks when we're wheeling at 2am, definitely not cause they look cool!!! *cough*

 

They come in handy when Im out in dark remote areas .. I camp and beach fish alot and both usually leave me out in
complete blackness. These are infinite offroads rgb kit and the bright white option has helped with repairs in the dark
*cough *cough and they do look cool

Did my 1st oil change since I bought the truck. What a different experience it is! I replaced the plastic filter housing with an aluminum one. Put the engine pan back on with 3 bolts instead of the 1 that was there.

 

Yowza! That is some major coin, but certainly gives you peace of mind. It took me a week to change every fluid except power steering and brake fluid, so maybe that labor charge is reasonable.
