I was thinking sell the blower. It would clean up. Didn't notice the truck doesn't run, that is really a shame.

I know what the issue is most likely. But again. Not really any thing I want to deal with unless I’m getting the truck for 4500 or less.

I’m buying a Tacoma on the 15th and I’ve got a FJ40 frame and body to get here

    IDK.
    • Hot
    • Humid
    • Hurricanes
    • People that can't drive
    • Being invaded by NYers and Cali-fornicators
    • No snow, and if it does snow they think it's the apocalypse

TX and FL have a lot in common.

Hurricanes + retirees = living near a human woodchipper.
And it's not like TX doesn't get hurricanes or oldies...

Plus I'm taking Floridaman in the first round over most Texans.

I heard that when your vehicle passes inspection, they just give you a new “Salt Life” sticker.

Speaking of, I did PINS a couple of weekends ago. If you have never been, like myself, you have to do it it’s unbelievable. 60 miles of driveable beach. Pick a spot and camp. From that trip I sure can’t understand why Texas beaches get such a bad rep.

As long as you don't end up like Roland Deschain at the end of the Gunslinger, that looks like a great place to spend some quality alone time.

I saw some non-brand name ones but decided to give this one a shot since it worked on Sunny's tailgate. We'll see how long it lasts, it was cheap enough. Traditionally I bag my trash and recycling then toss it in the bed to travel. In the past, I've had a few instances where the plastic trash bags have torn open or "empty" beer cans have spilled on my bed rug.

So don’t get me wrong it is a great accessory but they could improve their strap design and incorporate some other features.
When I did use it with the 4runner strapped to the InstaLadder, it was great to find trail trash(no not amber) and toss it in the roo vs putting that TT that’s been who knows where; inside the cab. I left the jeepbro group so I’ll have to dig deeper to find what they recommend

You bring up a good point about trail trash and that's one of the reasons I wanted to get this too. Getting out, picking it up and putting it in the roo and getting back in the truck is going to be quicker than dealing with my cap and untying the trash bags.

As long as he's not doing long distance towing 75/90 should be fine.
I would agree on the ABS.
I'm going to say an even dozen.

Normally the ABS should deactivate if it’s faulty, so as long as he remembers how to pump brakes like we did in the 20th century, he should be fine.

Threshold braking is a skill that died with the implementation of ABS. Everyone just stands on the big pedal and let's the car do the rest.
The 911 combined with the lunatics around the greater Indy metro area keep my skills sharp.
