I ran out to the pole barn to take the pic, the mileage is current. Right now our trips are working day trips so not a lot of fun...
We are going to try to go up this year for the festival the 1st of October; it'll be our first.

Sorry to hear about your friend

"Life happens". I'm just sad she was locked up in an ALF last time we'd gotten to see her, brain lesions had her unable to function on her own, and I dunno if she ever made it out. We really need to reach out to her brother, but prefer to do it in person. Don't even know if there was a service.

RE: 3 Sisters. It's free, just gotta bring a blanket or folding chairs, lots of decks nearby to park in. They usually have food trucks and portapotties surrounding the outdoor event space. Not sure how aware you are with Chattanooga, but Main Street between Market and Jefferson is awesome. If you like beer, Heaven & Ale is there, one of my favorites. Main Street Meats is a great butchery with various fresh meat cuts and products, solid cooked food for takeout. Niedlov's next door has great baked goods and breakfast. There's tons of parking behind Terminal Brewhouse. Whiskey distillery on Market St is 100 yards or two away, and if you like cigars (not my thing) Cigar Man is I think two blocks south of the meats place, super highly rated. May feel a little edgy or hipster, but I could walk this section eating and drinking all day any day.
