Hey OP, need to pick your brain here. Putting together my system here and yours looks like a very nice system system. So my questions are: Why run two setups when a system like the renogy dcdc mppt will reverse charge your starting battery once the house battery is full? Is there an app to adjust the charging profile on their mppt? Are the solar panels on your rear flexible or solid? If flexible how’s the longevity been so far? Dimensions would be awesome.

    Sorry for all the questions!

ok, the Cascadia front panel is only used to top off the starting battery. The two solar panels in the back are only hooked up to a Victron 100/20 mppt charge controller charging a 12v 100ah Lifepo4 battery that I put together to power my Dometic 12v CFX-50 fridge. So far is working great. the panels are 80w (in series) from Overland Solar and they are flexible. the dimensions you can pull from the Overland Solar website. I hope this answers your questions.

here's the link for the flexible panels:

I think there are holes in the hood where it attaches. I could be wrong though.

I have this system bookmarked as a ‘wanted’ mod. It’s way down on my priority list, but seeing it installed it looks real good

That is a Webasto Ragtop electric sunroof. It was installed after buying the truck. Super cool.

Are these wired in series or parallel? (Your posts mention both ways?). Did you fab the mount for the panels? I have a Retrax and it looks like that mount would work for me. Lastly, why two panels instead of their one 160 watt panel?

The panels in the back of the truck are in series to charge the secondary 12v100Ah Lifepo4 battery that powers the fridge. There are two panels because in series the voltage is higher than the single panel.
