Just give us a 360 pano of the interior. That's what I want.

Those AT4's here in south TX are commanding big money. $67k-$69k used.

Kinda interesting that Toyota USA’s YouTube channel had a video released yesterday on how diesels work, (keep in mind this is the channel for the United States and Toyota has no vehicles in the US with a diesel.) and then release a brand new teaser for the tundra today:monocle:

    Yeah but the GMC

    …gets better mpg’s
    …has better suspension
    …has better leaf springs
    …has a higher quality interior
    …has more payload
    …has a transmission cooler
    …has better paint

Why would you say such a thing!

I am am sorry that the GMC sucks so bad that you want to get rid of it so soon.

I've always had an affinity for diesel transportation including several diesel cars over the years and my current Ram which has served me exceptionally well. That being said I wouldn't touch a current diesel with current emission standards with a 10' pole, even if it was made by Toyota. I have no issue with the current regulations just the complexity of engines that live up to those standards.

I am pretty sure you were being sarcastic.... but I have the 3.0 duramax diesel that is plagued by the crank no start issue that seems the be pretty wide spread with the 21's that have the baby duramax engine. GM does not have a solution for it yet. One that they proposed was to remove the cab from the frame to access the rear of the engine to replace a piece that might be bent. I don't want to have to go through that, who knows if the dealership will put it back together correctly. I have already found some bolts that weren't torqued down enough (several turns of the torque wrench before they were in spec) from the factory so who knows what else is out of spec so that doesn't give me much confidence.

One thing I can say, is it does get better gas mileage than advertised. On my last highway trip I got ~35MPG highway (hand calculated).

Yes I was being sarcastic, I was poking fun at the level hate for the Tundra here and the love for other brands…nothing aimed at you. I will say that’s great mpg’s but clearly it has cost you in other ways…

Probably time to Lemon Law it. Sorry you have had a bad experience. You would think in this day and age a crank position sensor would be pretty well figured out by now.

I have been waiting for a few years for the new Tundra to come out, but I had to get out of my old vehicle. I got a good deal on the At4 that I couldn't pass up. But in hindsight I should have just bought a used Camry until the 2022 Tundra was released. This was my first and last GM product.

I can certainly go without that too. There is a point where too much is just too much.
My co-worker has a GMC with that tailgate; he recently jack-knifed a trailer into the back of the bed. He could not tell me how much it was going to cost to replace the tailgate, but I saw the tears in his eyes....

The Multi Terrain picture is interesting. Most vehicles that have it, the picture does not have a hand in there. The hand is blocking the top left button and the 4wd switch. I wonder if the top left button is a center lock aka Torsion diff or if it's a rear locker button.

I wish it was, but it is a drive mode button. You can see it in the video they released along with the photos.

Does he not have the parking sensors? Mine has a jack-knife alert, went off once so far when I got a little aggressive on the angles. The tailgate is ok, is nice to walk in or out of the bed without using your hands. My drop hitch is made to clear it while extended but when using my WDH hitch I need to be careful.
