These teaser videos released by Toyota need to stop, every time they put out 12 second teaser, every Truck YouTuber feels like they need to make a 10 minute video on it.

Only odd thing is that's a Sunday, not exactly the best day to release a new product.

wow thats super bright red, not really my cup o tea.

maybe all of those buttons near the terrain selector is a sign they stopped with all the crap down by my knees behind the steering wheel, that would be nice

the tach, etc in that teaser video looks all digital, not analog like the spy shot recently

I like the red but I think you'd have to be a bit of a girly man to keep it presentable.

So we've got one teaser left unless they add more placeholder spots on the press page.
Do we think it will be a shot of each trim level lined up beside each other?
Or is it much more likely to be a shot of the pro's tailgate or some other random part of the interior?

No idea, but the more I see the truck, the more it is going to cost.

Where I live the speed limit is typically 60 mph, and diesel costs the same as regular gas.

These press release pictures suck, they haven't showed us anything great at all. The fact that they only highlight tech and zero on cababilities has me worried. All I have seen from these pictures is tundra finally catching up on tech gizmos with the exception of the rear window which is exclusive to them.

Kind of a big reveal that it'll have terrain select, and CRAWL control. It should have had it years ago, but still a decent reveal.

That's nothing new or groundbreaking though, they are just catching it up to where it should of been years ago.

It looks like the wireless CarPlay dock is over on the passenger side of the console, I sure hope the magnet and attachment points are solid because thats going to be a PIA when it flops off the mount into the floorboard when off road and having to get out of the truck to get it.... I hope their is a corded option so I can put my phone where I want to put my phone

In the picture of the dock, there appears to be a little route for a cord below it. It's hard to tell due to the perspective, but it's easier to see on their instagram.

Good call. Why would they put the dock on passenger side for the driver to use? I hope they have a dock on each side.

I know the red is going to be a specialty trim, they certainly wouldn't force that on everyone (I would hope!). It's also an acquired taste for sure but to me it just says "clown car." I see the same option in Corvettes and Mustangs ... just like those crazy, loud exterior colors (like that neon green for the Mustang, for example) it's a novelty that will wear off but the owner will be too embarrassed to admit it and then you're stuck with it! Maybe it will match those new style sneakers! Sheesh, I'm really dating myself here, aren't I!

I hope 2022+ sales absolutely flop. Just out of spite of how asinine this reveal has been.

I don't hate a red interior, my issue with a red interior is it usually doesn't age well, they look great when they are new or in showroom condition on a sports car. For that reason I won't buy a truck with a red interior, I like the way it looks, I just don't like the way it will look in 5 plus years.

That wireless charging area does not look good as far as I can tell from the pics. Ram had the decency to put a rubbery material at the bottom front to keep the phone in place so the phone stays intact and your phone receives constant charge not on and off after every bump moves it away from the charger. I am scared this is going to be another failed interior. I wish RAM was more reliable I'd switch over in a second not gonna lie. I just spend 4 days traveling in a friends Highlander and drove over 700 miles. I got back into my truck and after 10mins on the road I asked myself "Why am I doing this to myself?"

Not always. IMO the red seats I see in E46 M3s still pop and look great. (That car is approaching 20yrs old)

Might be thinking wrong here, but I'd rather not have a permanent part of the dash dedicated to wireless charging. Phone sizes, shapes, and charging methods have changed a lot since I bought my current truck - who's to say the next phones will fit or be able to use it? May not matter if you don't keep the truck long term, but possibly wasted space in the future?
