Had lunch in Montecito Sunday. Tuco still doesn't like the ocean but he likes wo watch surfers.

 

My mom always told me toys don't grow on trees ~ she was Wrong !

A couple of the ladies from the neighborhood walk the beach early in the morning and find all sorts of discarded buckets, shovels & such.
They hang them in the trees and invite anyone to help themselves to anything available.
Recycling at its very finest.

Pinky is an escaped flamingo now living in the wild at the south end of San Diego Bay.
Here's another pic of him at dawn with the surface of the water looking pretty glassy.
Quite the curiosity, everyone gets a little nervous when he's not spotted in his usual location . . .

Awesome trail ride earlier today with @TRDFerguson @BiggHertz @Olson @AT x AT. Four Peaks Road, second pic is the top of Four Peaks Mountain looking east toward Roosevelt Lake.

I didn’t. I have a video from kinda far away but nothing that shows how hairy that part was.

This fence is all that separates Mexico from the US.



The bull ring is the prominent feature in the above pic ~ it's on the Mexican side of the fence.

Border Field State Park

The very southwesternmost point in the Continental United States.
Here's some folks riding their horses while splashing around in the ocean.
There are trails for both horses and pedestrians.
Hiking/riding is lots more comfortable along the ocean versus the inland valleys this time of the year.

 

Ghost river, 1 hour from my house in Calgary. Been here almost 10 years and it was our first time. Inflatable boats FTW.

Couple shots of San Luis Obispo where i was born, raised, and still somehow manage to live here. It isnt the same town it was 20 years ago. More people, taller buildings, expanding areas for homes, and more stuck up people. Still love this place when its green though.

The full moon is visible above the San Diego - Coronado bridge which crosses the bay.
