Took the Tundra in for tint this morning after work (formula one pinnacle infrared rejecting ceramic tint by llumar). 5% all the way around with brow. This bitch is looking sexy.

Proper stormtrooper. Ive got the same 5% all the way around, I love it, but seeing out the side windows at night can be a pain.

I'm debating whether I should do 15% again on the front 2 or put to 5% like the rest will be done on my new sequoia....you got me leaning toward 5% all around now

See how adding black makes it look better? Now add black vinyl wrap all over it and you'll be 5x as happy.

The 5% is awesome, but I'm getting older and my eyes aren't all that anymore, I'd stick with 15% fronts unless you got the nightvision of a youngster

I had my Prius done with 5% all around except for 15% on the front driver and passenger doors. Too light. I'd go with 5% all around if it's legal where you live.

It's just too damn bright and hot here, the 5% helps with running the AC on a lower setting but keeping the cabin cold.

I love the 5% but Cali says no. Next thing for me is a new windshield. Was debating the brow and your pic sealed the deal…bring on the brow!

I think a brow is an absolute must with tint, just ties everything together, imo.

Louisiana "technically" says no as well. State tint law here is 40%/25%/20% but that's no fun, so... :bananadance:

my brother in law and brother both work for the sheriff's dept, and both say they may pull you over for tint if you're doing anything shady or suspicious, but won't write a ticket for it. they both say they agree that in Louisiana, it's almost a requirement to have tint. Both also tint their windows darker than legal. But they say if you're being a d!ck in any form, they'll gladly write you a ticket. A few other local dept cops i've talked to have said pretty much the same. From what I understand....state troopers feel differently.
