Depends on if you want it exactly level at the fenders, or visually level, or if you want to keep a little bit of rake.
Anywhere from 1.5 - 2" looks great in my opinion.

I believe 2" is exactly level

    I’m on a 3/1 Level kit now with 33’s and 20’s

Going to be taking it off soon and doing a 5inch lift. I’m debating if I want to keep the 33’s or go up to 35’s

Those numbers are close. It also depends on the truck and the suspension. I run 3/2 since I haul dirt bikes in the back.

Depends on what you want/need it to be. On my 2016 1.5" front lift left me with a slight rake (0.65") and looked level to the eye.
Because of this, on my 2021, I did a simple 1" bump (via CB 1/2" shim) and that kept a bit of rake but still looks much better than stock and still looks good w/ stock tire size... whereas the 1.5-2" lifts seem to beg for slightly larger tires.
Here is the '21 w/ the 1" lift and stock (275/65r18) tires.

    really with a 3" lift you need 35s, and with a 5/6" = 37s (In my opinion)

I may explore other sizes… but im working with limited height space in my garage and I really want to avoid cutting on my truck.

I think if I do the 5inch lift + 35’s I’ll be cutting it extremely close, but if I leave the 33’s on I may be ok.
