Lift an edge or grab it and wiggle it.

It may not be necessary if it's that hot. If you do use a heat gun (I recommend hair dryer on low), make sure to constantly move it. I had a kid helper do the hair drier as I pulled the badges off.

I used a plastic kitchen scraper as I couldn't get fishing line or dental floss to work.

Once the edge is lifted, peel.it back slowly (heating as you go if necessary) and it should pull off in once piece.

I used a heat gun, but just on low and to gently warm it. It helps to get the rubber glue crap off a ton though. A little heat and it all rolls off together and doesn't leave anything behind. Then a quick spray of a detail juice, topped off by a quick wax to help cover any damage from removal and its ready to rock. If you use rubbing alcohol you should wax after too.

Most pickup owners are like 12 year old girls. Their trucks become accessories to their style so it has to be "clean" and "stanced", whatever that means.

I will admit, I am not a fan of the TRD OFF ROAD decals on the bed. Can do without the iForce decal as it's the only engine available and serves no purpose. Still not going to bother taking them off, at least not for now. No right or wrong either way, just personal choices.

Yeah never understood why anyone would keep the badges on any vehicle, they look stupid IMO and cause issues later on. Mine were off the truck the first day.

Debadged mine immediate. Cleaner looking and less places for dirt and grim to get trapped. Makes washing and waxing much easier. I typically debadge every vehicle I get. I hate how manufacturers throw so much crap all over their cars. Clean and simple is my preference.

De badging can devalue a vehicle. I had a dealer use it as a devaluing chip. They said it was going to cost them X amount to add the badges back on. I said you have a lumpy butt.

the dealer was just blowing smoke up your butt. The only way removing badging is going to devalue a car is when it’s so expensive or limited that it’s truly part of the cars identity. I’ve debadged every vehicle I’ve had over the past 10 years (13 vehicles) and not once has a dealer mentioned the debadging.

You can always do what I do though and once you remove them, throw them in the glovebox when you trade it in.
