I put a set of powerstop slotted rotors and hawk pads on several years ago and they served me fine but I've developed a nasty pedal vibration. Instead of turning the rotors I'm going to replace them.

Was not unhappy with Powerstop but it appears they now recommend slotted AND drilled for towing.

Are the EBC yellow or Orange pads worth that dang much extra?

Check the rotors for run out before tossing them. IF there's some they can be turned.
I doubt that it's the rotors though. Trucks are not race cars, they don't need full metallic pads.
Ceramics are good for dust control but not that great in stop start traffic.
Get an organic / metallic combo as they will perform in 99 percent of what a truck goes through unless your out of control going downhill with a huge load....
EBCs have been run on our bikes for years. I have not noticed any difference other than cost.

I'm a little late, so not sure if this is helpful or not, but I had EBC yellow's (can't remember what rotors I had with it) but they wore extremely quick, IMO; under 20K miles.

I tow a ~6,500 - 7,000 trailer a few times per year and my daily drive is 90 miles on the highway, so I don't think it's overly hard on the brakes, but maybe I'm wrong.

What is holding you back? Also, any reason you’re going with hawk pads over the stoptech pads?

I never use drill or slot rotors on my track days. I only use factory rotors with hawk blue, stainless brake lines and brake flush with dot 4. Those rotors kill ur brake pad faster.

Haven't pulled the trigger yet because I research the chit out of things.
Looking at Hawks because I'm outfitting this CM for truck cap camping and towing.

If you want to save some money give BrakeMotive on EBay a try

I have used several sets of their drilled and slotted rotors without issue

How has this performed. I'm thinking of running this same set up?

    Tastefully enhanced...
EBC slotted rotors, or StopTech Cryo treated...as for pads, a semi metallic will be the best for your setup...I just tried BuyBrakes.com for my 4runner and it was considerably cheaper than anywhere else and damn near immediate shipping. I am very happy with their site and will order again from them...

I had the powerstop kit but the fronts warped a few months after I installed them so went back to new Oem in the front and the original in the rear no problems nice and smooth
