Hey just got some fox 2.5 IFP. Was wondering if anyone has any information about the adjustment thread increments.

if it was covered in another thread or someone came across this information feel free to drop it.

    thanks!

I have the FOX 2.5 with adjustable and out of the box they were way too high, had to go 3 threads showing on driver side and almost none showing on passenger and that gave me about 3 inches of lift in the front.

I measured .65” pass, and .72” driver side to accommodate for the lean a bit.

it looks nose high, but after measuring there’s still a 1” rake at the rear, but it looks nose high since the tundra’s hood line doesn’t match the bead line like most trucks.

I’ll see if I can lower it a bit later since the mounting point puts the adjustment screw in the back.

Also was wondering if you guys have any information on weather or not they settle after driving a bit and how much. If so I might just leave them

Looks good. They will settle out a bit as you drive with them and the spring gets used to going through expansion and contraction. Looks like you need to get an alignment though. That will help with the nose high look if you did not get one yet. Looks good.

Yeah sent it in earlier today for an alignment. I loosened the cam bolts to fit the bigger shock body. So alignment was p bad, had like 2 degrees of positive camber on each wheel and the toe was totally off.

yeah I hope it get a bit lower in the front as I drive but otherwise it was worth the weekend-long job.

Haha, I thought about it. I drive on the freeway most of the time and a lot of my off-road is on work projects from the ground up, ie. Gas stations, piping, with some occasional trails with some friends here and there so idk I’ll wait and see

Fair, I work from home these days so I've been enjoying my 35" mud terrains but if I drove to work everyday I'd probably want some AT's instead.

Just got it aligned, a bit better. It does have quiet some caster from the camburgs’s, def notice it in the steering. Waiting to see how they’ll be once settled.
