Looks good, I think? What's the swirl on it?

If you do pizzas semiregularly you should see if you can get your hands on a rocking pizza blade. Worked at a Pizza Hut in high school and have been disappointed with the little handheld pizza wheels ever since.

Last week was craptastic and gained momentum right up to being a catastrophe. Here's hoping things can just be quiet for 6 months. :boom:

Another morning, another customer call. Really going to miss taking these calls at home when we all go back to the office.

Glad everyone has given up asking people to use their web cams. Showering is now an afternoon activity

I met with the President of our company yesterday and vented quite a bit. He's definitely in to support my staff and I. I dropped my drive to the office from 5 days a week to 2.5
    Increase my vehicle allowance
    Fuel card possibility
Allowing me to fire a few clients that don't make financial sense to keep

I am still exploring trading the 4R and picking up a Tesla...even at 2.5 days, while it does help a lot- Tesla just makes more sense from a fuel / wear and tear stand point. My neighbor just traded in his 2019 Model 3 dual motors, AWD in at a dealership...I'm tempted to go talk to them. Only has 16k on the odometer

Awesome that you got to let the higher ups know that things are crazy... speaking of crazy... trading the 4Runner!? Nooooooooooo! :(

I know...but if I can get 346hp AWD and 120mpg ...then that fuel savings alone (plus a few rebates) would make up the payment for fuel and no wear / tear other than tires?

So many people talk about a commuter car not realizing they are spending a dollar to save a dime. But with your drive and the difference between a 4R and all-electric it might make sense (cents haha)

I can see the value you are looking at, BUT what about on off time? If you want to get off the beaten path a bit, do you have a vehicle for it? It's hard to top a 4 runner for an off road ready platform that is still daily driveable. Money is only good if you spend it, otherwise it has no value, and if being locked to pavement is going to be a mood killer.... I'd just hate to see you trade it in and regret it. I've did that two years ago, and I still kick myself.

Fortunately, I haven’t wheeled since my Tacoma days. I grabbed this 4R right after our nasty, record breaking winter storm in March. We have a Highlander (lol) but the 4R is pretty much a pavement Queen. I’m still debating it

Can I offer a suggestion while you are debating? Load up some camping gear and get the 4Runner off pavement. Go spend some time somewhere your Highlander and a Tesla couldn't get you, and see if it's something you want to give up. No judgement if it is, as I don't get out there super often, but it's just something to get a current perspective on it.

Ya, so we don’t camp either lol. I had this self debate when I was between the IS300 F or my Tundra. Opted for the Tundra, and loved it. Lexus I then got years later and loved it too (mainly the speed, cornering).I do miss the speed, but also love being able to take it out in bad weather and mob around. I miss the 24-26 mpg I was getting too. I wish I could afford to have the best of both worlds.

I can see that being the case for you then. If you like speed, you'll love an electric. Personally, I'd go with a WRX, but they ride rough. Still a major grin romping around in it though.

Only noisy if you make it that way.

Best of both? Porsche Cayenne. Fast and SUV capable. Good reliability too, I think.

What are your requirements again, besides good fuel economy?

I'm not sure if anything I would suggest has enough power for you.

    Camry/Avalon
Hyundai Kona N (not sure if this will be AWD)
    Kia Stinger

The Stingers are nice, but I just don’t trust their resale value, yet.

Yeah, I don't think anything I suggested has great resale either but you mentioned that in your response to Adam, not to me. :p

Honestly, I think good fuel economy and good resale are mutually exclusive as you pretty much have to go full size body on frame for good resale.

So, the Stinger has decent HP with the twin turbo V6, @368hp. MPG is 17/24, but lower with me driving lol. $51,2XX starting. Just puts me back in the same boat and will need premium fuel.

Kia just announced the Stinger is DOA next year too. So that doesn’t help the resell.

Love the looks of that car…but it didn’t sell well apparently
