6.5 inches on the picnic table. It's hard to plan what to do here on Mother's Day in CO. Of course there is always 4 wheeling here. It does look now there will be "play ball" this afternoon. Emphasis on "now".

My bud in Anchorage called to gloat. It's mostly sunny and mid fifties there.

Just got back from the game. 9-5 Dodgers, for those who care. Snow is pretty much gone. Sun was in and out most of the game. Not bad considering what is was like 12 hours earlier. Another day normal day in CO.

It's 80+ here in Western PA. After this past brutal winter, no one envies you, haha. Well, at least it sounds like a fluke.

Normal weird weather for Colorado. Happened last year on Mother's day too. A few years back I was up on Independence Pass between Aspen and Leadville and a squall came over a dumped about 1/2 inch.......... JULY 2ND

Wow, snow in July! I am guessing it has to do with those huge mountains there. I drove through there many years ago and still fondly remember those spectacular mountains. We do have little mountains (my wife calls them 'hills') and they are not big enough to affect the weather. Our weather is mostly shaped by Lake Erie.

The Rocky Mountains are pretty cool, especially in the fall. I spent tens months up in Anchorage. The Chugach Mts , Brooks and Wrangell Ranges blow everything away. I am getting that urge to go back and stay. Best hunting and fishing on the planet. Talk about remote 4 wheeling.
