NSV Light Bar Group Buy! -DISCOUNTS-

That looks similar to the led strip people put under their tailgate as an additional brake, turn signal. It does not provide focused lighting that the NSV or other light bars provide with mirrored reflectors. You may get 15-20 feet of lighting while a light bar will provide useable light for several hundred yards. A case of you get what you pay for.

 

Fully agree, but depending what his needs are this could be an affordable solution. If it doesn't fit his needs, I hope he doesn't buy it lol

Also, it is not compatible with the 20 and 21 models. The light bar is, but the switch panel is different for the 20 and newer. NSV has not made a new panel yet.

I'm in for the resurrecting party once the switch panel installs in the 21 model if offered in a GB again. I've been eyeballing this.

Wait, I’d be in for 15% off that light. That’s $1k sticker is the only reason I haven’t done that up grade.

maybe they will see this post and do version 2.0

 

iF this was around $500, I could justify it. but 1k just seems unreasonably over priced. Maybe if it also did white, and amber color.

 

I really like this bar! But the price point is steep as hell.

 

They haven't even updated the switch panel that is needed for the 20-21 yet.

 

I would have to relocate the switches anyways as my lower panel is already full

Not sure. I saw a post a few weeks back that they were looking for a local truck for testing.

They finished the update. I installed one on my 2021 trd pro yesterday. The new switch comes directly from nsv. I’m still waiting on the new switch.

Yes, I'd like to see pictures also...I've asked HR a couple of times about the switch size but haven't really received a clear answer. Now, they did send this video to me.

What I'm scratching my head about...it looks as if they are showing install on a <2020 Tundra because I've only have 2 switch blanks on the panel under climate control (one of which is occupied) and the new switch panel installed in the card holder behind the shifter. They both look to be the small format Toyota switch...which the NSV switch looks larger.

I thought about purchasing a switch just so I could get an answer and when going to check out, the effing freight was $30.60 for a $40 switch. Dammit...it shouldn't cost $10-12 to stick it in a padded envelope mailer (even on FedEx Ground/HD) but it appears to my professional opinion (logistics manager 34 years), they are ripping folks off with freight markups.

when pinning the 12 pin connector put the number 8 pin in the number 3 slot.
the number 8 slot will be empty.

 

next add is the lower light bar. I went with the 42 inch so it fill that void.

I would've ordered this yesterday until I seen the shipping fees.

 

Temporary fix for the nsv switch.
Turn on the light bar switch and leave energized behind the dash.
install swipe and drl switches in the oem panel.
