Toytec BOSS Suspension Review (Aluma Coilovers)

I always find it funnny when people talk rebuilding their shocks or how long they last. 100% some people on here hit it hard and do their own rebuilds if their shocks. However, check the life of most shocks...a car, trick minivan etc.....they have a life span too...and yet I've never known a family member to change any of them...not have I (except for upgrading lifts). It's "all I ever did was change the oil and put gas in it". And..that includes old Tacoma's and 1st Gen tundras... 150+, same shocks...so...don't we think they "should" be replaced then...but...you can also keep on driving...

 

Love my toytec kit. Just got it put on my new tundra and it rides like a dream. Only done about 1,000 miles with it but it's great much better than the 5100s that I had on my old tundra.

 

It really depends though from user experience though. Some leak from driving in the rough terrain of off roading. Albeit the chances of it leaking when you only use it for driving in the city and to around the town is very minimal. And when I say very minimal. It's VERY minimal. But as I said, people who do go off-roading tend to see wear and tear and the need for rebuild when the time comes. I'm with you though, I feel like the best rebuild is just upgrading.
