I'm thinking of selling my wife's 2016 TRD Pro to get her a 2022 TRD Pro, assuming I can get my hands on one. Thing is bone stock, garaged until December 2019 when its stall was taken over by our type r. 65k miles. Towed probably 4 times in its life because we use my Duramax to haul stuff. It's a gun metal gray crewmax. I was wondering the best place (website) to list it and what these are bringing today. Any help appreciated.
    Thanks!

Carvana has been giving good deals, I'm sure there are more places...

Use it as trade in for 22. May get less, but save on taxes this way.

If it's not an issue than just list privately in local paper, used vehicle magazine, craigslist.

Good to know. I'm in WY so I'll definitely reach out to them.

Carvana and Vroom both give free quotes. At minimum I recommend getting a quote from them before looking elsewhere. They both have little overhead, as mentioned, and they tend to beat dealer offers by several thousand. Some folks have complained about Vroom recently, COVID has them hosed up. They may have sorted their issues out by now.

Maybe this is regional? I find it to be the exact opposite in my area. Out of curiousity, I checked Carvana vs Carmax. At the same time Carmax offered $42,800 for my truck, Carvana offered $39,000.

Could very well be. Last time I dealt with either was before the auto market went completely haywire.

I used givemethevin.com a few weeks back to sell my wife’s Camry. They will beat Carmax’s offer or send you a check for $100.

I might hold off on the 22 until they square away all the major issues popping up.

Unfortunately I really just don’t see the car market cooling down any time soon. The various problems that lead us down this ridiculous path have been compounded greatly. If you can hold onto that truck OP I would and if not it is what it is…
