IMG_2853.jpg I replaced the entire front end (grill, hood bulge, headlights, and bumper. I also ordered a new center valance and had it color matched. For installation I had to search numerous videos on YouTube. This is what I would recommend because you have to start by taking off the grill, then the molding under the lights. (Searching for headlight replacement videos should get you there). Once those are off, you can access the bolts and clips for the bumper. I would recommend taking off the entire bumper as the end caps are attached to the center valance by multiple bolts that are very difficult to get to while on the truck.

Didn't see reference to parking sensors. Any advice/caution about disconnecting and reconnecting the parking sensors? or is it like the fog lights.

    Thank you for the instructions.

I don't have sensors so I'll defer to anyone who has experience with working around them.

The parking sensor grommets are held in place by a retaining clip on the inside of the bumper. Once the retainer is removed, the sensor assembly comes out the front of the bumper. Be very careful when removing the actual sensor from the grommet not to damage the the rubber weatherproofing or thin gauge sensor wires.

Hardest part IMO is reinstalling. I suggest routing the sensor through the new bumper hole and attaching to the grommet first before securing the assembly to the bumper with the retaining clip. The sensor will only go into the grommet one way so make sure you have it aligned correctly and don't force it too hard. Again make sure not to do any damage to the rubber weatherproofing. It wants to stick to the plastic grommet so it may help to use some type of non harmful lube.

    Hope this helps.

As far as reinstalling the sensors, I also had to file away some fiberglass in the sensor hole (in the end caps) for mine to fit. I couldn't get my sensors in before I did that.

I had my chrome ones painted. I was going to powder coat but he assured me the paint would hold up just as well and match better. They media blasted, primed, painted and cleared for $130

Powdercoat. 40.00 per end = 160.00. Not a perfect match here when new in the first 2 pictures. Barely noticeable now that it faded in the last pic.

What rims do you have and what's the offset? Looks good and doesn't seem to stick out too far. Debating whether or not to get rims and tires or just tires, I've got stock 20" Limited wheels.

Get rid of the chrome! Sanded and painted chrome ends, grill shroud and hood bulge. The pro grill really just finished the look. 20171202_210554.jpg

Please share what you find out. Cost for PC and vinyl since I see you decided to go vinyl. I am in WV as well and would imagine that there are not that many shops around. Want to go color matched but having trouble deciding which way to go, paint, powder coat, vinyl.

I was quoted $60-75 per bumper end for PC in Shinnston and $50 each for vinyl at HD Truck Center at the mall in Bridgeport. I’d go PC but that price was for me to remove them and bring them in and idk want to have to do that

My 2018. Ordered the end caps and grille/bulge from Roman. Given TSS had to keep stock grille which I don't mind. Had end caps matched and painted at local boy shop. Sure beats the chrome.

Yes a friend runs an auto body shop. Sanded with 80 grit dual action sander. Wiped clean, sprayed with self-etching primer. Then regular auto prime and paint. So far so good only paid material cost the four bumpers grill and hood bulge paint was $250.
A lot of shops will not attemt to paint over chrome. If I didn't have that type of hookup I would powder coat then paint to color match. I definitely like the solid steel construction of the chrome bumpers. No shaky fog light bounce.
