    Heya folks.
I am looking around at different lift options, but am having issues figuring out what would be best. Partly because I have sporadic weak signal and cant get all the pages to load. If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it. I am currently working as a watchman for a logging company and do not have access to use a shop and am limited to 9hr/day I can be off-site with a 4hr round trip drive to a place I can work on the truck on pavement with air tool access.
Vehicle: 2008 Crewmax, 5.7, 4x4 (used a lot now), airbags on the rear without cradles. Tires are LT275/70R18 on 2016 OEM wheels.

Primary use: for the next year or two it will be forest service roads/graveled logging roads/non-graveled rough logging tracks between 2 and 10 miles per day. Towing my camper every now and then in those conditions also. Highway use will be roughly 4 hours/week.

Goal: lift and level with better ride quality.
Loaded struts preferred as I will be doing all the work at my site.
I am thinking a 2/1 would be preferred.

Price: prefer to keep it less than $1500, but willing to go to $2000 if I must.

Teraflex Falcons will level (2” in front). CoachBuilder shackles in rear.

Since those aren't loaded, what springs would be recommended for my application? I see I'm a little late for the GB.
Anyone else have suggestions for a loaded set?

I'd wanted this exact setup, and have already ordered the Teraflex/Falcon kit. I emailed Teraflex (after the fact), and they don't recommend any lift in the rear with their leveling kit. Their agent said it carried the risk that the shocks would overextend. I'd really like to keep the slightest rake, so I may be proceeding differently than I'd expected. Anyone have any comment?

Used Coachbuilder's web site to send them a note on this, and they called me about an hour later. They assured me the +1 shackles don't allow the springs to travel more than factory specs, and that it's fine to set those up with the Falcon levelling kit.

What coils will you be using?

My problem is tools up where I'm at currently. I may have to wait until after fire season so I have more time that I can be off the mountain. I can put down boards and blocks, but if I need another tool from my cabinet, I'm SOL. And I don't think AutoZone would be willing to bring me any loaners.

Stock 1794 (non-TRD Pro) springs. I don't want to get heavier springs - the Falcons are to make the ride nicer on pavement - for the wife.

Also, I got word back from Teraflex on the warranty issue (I have to say, I'm really impressed with both Teraflex and Coachbuilder for customer responsiveness). If I add the shackles and the shocks fail for reasons other than over-extension, I'm fine and the warranty will be as normal. If I add the shackles and an overextension causes a failure in the shock, I would not be covered.

I guess I won't be doing any more Smoky And The Bandit bridge jumping...

On your trouble - - I'd be scared of getting half way done and either having to put the thing back to original or just having it sit until you could find a tool. More time to pore through Tundras.com on great ways to spend your money...

Guess I should start looking for some stock coils and top hats, so I can assemble the set before pulling mine off.
Really, the only other thing I could use is a snorkel. I've changed air filters 3 times in the last month while knocking them clean(er) in between. Dust is almost as bad as it was in Afghanistan.

Thanks for knowing that - -

You could get a washable (or two, and switch them out)...
    https://www.amazon.com/33-2387-Performance-Replacement-2007-2013-2008-2013/dp/B001AEX12O

Cold Air Intake setups usually also have washables.

Of course, that's just a workable placeholder until you get that snorkel.

Thanks. Not a fan of K&N. Not really looking at plain CAI, as factory is pretty much the same minus the noise and perceived power increase. I need to get the inlet up above the cloud of dust at 10mph.
Lift will add a bit more air space before the dust gets to the inlet, but a snorkel would work best in my case and would be used for what they were originally designed. I own property in central Oregon that has similar dirt for the driveway, so it wouldn't be a waste in my mind to do it.
I'll start cruising the classifieds and CL to try to find OE loaded struts to start stacking parts up.
Right now, I lose signal when I type and have to put it in the window to get signal back. So, it is a process (an annoying one).
