    The hell?
He and I have been talking about MTBs all day.
I even went back through his posts and all I saw outside our MTB convo was one comment about tacos and being married.

When the mods see a post deemed political it is deleted when the ban is given. You won't be able to find any of them unless they've been specifically left as an example of what not to do.

 yeah I'm just messing around. I wasn't even sure if thats incoming or outgoing but it would look cool at least if it had 1" primaries and a 1.5" collector.

I didn't get the chance to work on much commercial stuff like that. I wish I did, thats where you can build up skill for pipe fitting and routing.

Thats pretty weak. He mentioned a certain doctor who happens to be highly politicized, but didn't mention him in a political way. Thats gotta be it.

Right, but if the posts are deleted without a confirming second opinion, it’s easily abused as a way to target users the mod doesn’t like.
And there’s no post to go back and look at and say, “oh yeah. That was XYZ against the rules.” We just have to take their word for it that an infraction occurred.
If the mods lord over us and the things we post, someone should hold them accountable too.

Being on TV doesn’t make anyone a political figure. It makes them an actor.
I guess we better not post about TV/movies/Hollywood either.

That would do it. I got a 30 day vacation for a post in the Word Association thread because it was a pic of a person who comments on politics. There was nothing political about it, but I think I may have ruffled some feathers elsewhere, so I was on radar.

The mods police each other, kinda. There have been several mods that have been banned themselves. @Darkness mentioning what he did brought memory of the post back. It was borderline political, and these days, that's all it takes to get a vacation. Perma's are discussed among the mods from what I understand, so there is more involved there. In the end, the forum is policed as desired by the owner. We can either accept it and do our best to avoid vacations, or rebel, get perma's and bitch about it elsewhere.

For taboo topics, it's not hard to create a multimember PM and then the convo can happen however you'd like. You just have to know that PMs can be reported as well, so you should be clear with anyone you are PMing what is going on.

There should be some level of threshold to it. If I say I'm a big fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger, by the way things are going it could be a vacation. He's a movie star and a body builder to me, but he's a (former) politician to others.

I don't like erasing the evidence either, that's concealing and removing any chance for review. If anything, paint the font red so people know talking like that will get you banned. No need to censor. Striking through their names is signaling, might as well signal with what they said while at it.

Don't go banning me for saying signaling now.

Though I agree with this 90%, I would say a pic of the post should be in the Banned thread, not left in threads that can be commented on. Even still, what we think/want is irrelevant. There is no chance for review because there is no right to one. This is a privately owned forum, and it can be run however they want. Basically, freedoms don't apply here.

Anyone have a cool kids lunch table PM thread? I can make one, lemme know if you want in.

and anyone can add to the list. First 11 or so, first serve. I havent figured out how to trick the system into having more than 13 at a time.

If i wanted to run the velocity stack, i would glue it to the maf sensor behind the filter. Also knife edge the tb blade. And to run the coffee can, id want fenderwell headers and pipes where tubular steps are, and kick the fartcans up and out. Preferably at crossover window height.
