The head unit cluster looks like lego blocks.

    I don't hate it.

That doesn't match the teaser image on the site at all.

Looks like a 6.5' bed with a Crewmax cab, though. Which I like. Wish I had had that option when I bought my truck. 5.5' is just a little short, but I need the CrewMax because family.

I don't think it looks hideous but its definitely underwhelming with how much hype this truck is creating. The infotainment/stereo looks so outdated already and it hasn't come out yet and honestly I don't like the "lego" look around the radio and air vents.

8K Tach is interesting...not sure why they increased it when redline appears to now take up 1/3 of the gauge?? o_O

I hope all the buttons are easily seen from the drivers point of view. I hated having to look down under the dash to turn off the rear back up sensors when I was towing and also I wonder where the engine start/stop button is at o_O

Reading elsewhere that what we are seeing is the base or mid level infotainment system. Top of the line one will be more like 11-12 inches....

You won't get what you want if you don't know what you want.

Red- I hope there is some explanation for this interlocking styling. Maybe there are buttons that go there and aren't visible here, otherwise that would look much cleaner being a big rectangular screen.

Green- those trim outlines are strange. Its implied by my frequent "paint it black" comments, but leaving this accent out and leaving the vent black would look better I think. Or use that silver trim all the way down, just looks odd this way.

Blue- this I actually do like. Reminds me of an 8 track player for some reason, but I appreciate buttons and those look clean.

I think they could have used a screen with a much smaller bezel. Looks like a 20 year old touch screen to me, or like they used an iPad. A full inch of dead space surrounding the usable screen seems rookie.

Making the air vents part of the design is a good idea. But I personally don’t like the “tape deck” feature under the screen.

overall you will buy it and you will live with it because it’s a Toyota. Lol

That steering wheel doesn't look like Toyota to me. Resembles a domestic more that anything. The gauge needles too.

Where are the oversized temp control knob dials like I have now? If it doesn't have them, I'm out.

It's not a Toyota without them.

The center console buttons/toggles remind me of switches on electric organs I used to see at my local mall.

Maybe you can generate some electric beats.

That shot of the head unit / center screen looks to me like it's still camouflaged. Like they purposely stuck some big chunky screen over the top of it to help hide it. Hence the "lego brick" appearance - maybe it clips over the head unit screen while out and about just to try to cover it from prying eyes...?

Hideous is a little harsh. Why so much hate on a truck we haven't even seen yet??

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
Did I start a thing? LOL.

    Yeah he’s in camp 1.

Gotta admit if that is the interior I am not terribly thrilled with it either. Been driving around while on vacation in my mom’s 2021 Lexus RX350 because my car sits pretty low and her knees aren’t great these days. The Lexus has the screen mounted up on the dash like the teaser photo from Toyota. Gotta say I prefer that location over in the dash. Easier to see at a glance instead of looking further down away from the road. Cosmetically I am ambivalent, but the teaser photo is what I’m hoping for screen location wise.

Reminds me of the highlander trims where the lower ones get the integrated basic screen with buttons still and the top times get the bigger all touch screen that sticks up a bit.
