It has become obvious I chose a bad time to look for a Tundra. I am hoping to find a truck built before the remodeled 2022's. Could the folks here tell me if Carmax and Carvana are OK places (along with dealers, individuals) to look? I have no experience dealing with them.I am looking for a new or almost new white or silver truck. We've had 5 Toyota 4-Runners and keep our vehicles forever or at least a zillion miles. Thanks in advance for any advice,Mike

Agree with the above. The difference between new and used low mileage will be fairly small for anything below 20K miles and or two years old.

I would reach out to both companies to see how they treat returns, warranty issues, etc. Carmax used to require maintenance to be done at their facilities not sure what their situation is now. Carmax also has a higher profit margin but some of that is enabled by lowballing sellers.

Agree with the above. You'll be better off looking around for a new one.

If you wait a year, there should be plenty of 20 and 21 models on the market traded in for the new one. While there are many of us that like the 3rd gen, there are many waiting to trade up.

My 2015 Super White Pro has just under 20,000 miles her. I might be persuaded to sell for $72,000.
