Yes, I replaced the whole assemblies last July with Bilstein 5100's, and Dobinsons C59-302 springs.

Here's a link to 1stgenoffroad coilovers, and a link to the Dobinsons ¼" shim.

Not sure if its the 6112 or 5100 but some bilsteins have you set the clips at different heights to account for the lean, so maybe they are flipped around? You could check the perch chart and count the clip height on both sides to check

While setting the clips at different positions may appear to fix the lean, it will make the preload on the springs different on each side causing potentially unpredictable handling and uneven tire wear. I do not believe it is recommended to do so. I believe the shim is the fix, if it bothers you enough to do so.

I paid 1stgenoffroad for assembly of these so I could just install them when the time came. They weren't marked driver/passenger side. I just plopped them in and hoped for the best. The ride is pretty good to me.

I don't think I want to get into adjusting the clip setting for various reasons, and an inch worth of spacers doesn't seem like the best approach. Hell, I was hesitant to put the 1/4" spacer in.

I have no reason to believe they were assembled incorrectly, but it's possible I suppose. Would how much the shock stud is sticking through the top matter? That's about the only way I can figure to measure for differences with them installed.

Ya maybe, but I cant think of why one side studs are shorter. Maybe the top hats are different or something is obstructing it from the underside

    None yet.
Just added the 5100s on all 4 corners and put the front stocks in the middle (third from the bottom) and came up with the following: Front: 21" and Rear: 22.5".
This is using the OEM springs from the OEM KYB shocks I took off that had 156K miles on them.

Took measurements of my 2wd. Just under 1/2 tank with almost no weight in the rear (backflip tonneau cover, plastic bed liner and a piece of wood across the rear bed liner slots).

    LF: 19 3/8"
    RF: 19 1/2"
    Rear: both 21 1/4"

My 16’ Tacoma was 1.75” dropped to the drive side rear after I lifted it. I added a 1/2” shim spacer to the drive side leaf pack, and a 1/4” spacer to the top of the drive side coil over and it leveled out the truck pretty well.

You just have to make sure the front won’t over extend and bind the CV Shaft.

I kind of want to level my truck out now that I know the lean and rake. Went down the research rabbit hole looking for possible OEM combos.

    Tundra AC springs:
    48131-AF170 = 340.0 2wd R
    48131-AF430 = 339.5 2wd R
    48131-AF470 = 333.0 2wd R
    48131-AF180 = 344.0 2wd L
    48131-AF440 = 343.5 2wd L
    48131-AF480 = 336.5 2wd L

    48131-AF410 = 358.5 4wd R
    48131-AF510 = 351.5 4wd R
    48131-AF420 = 363.5 4wd L
    48131-AF520 = 356.5 4wd L

    Tundra DC springs:
    48131-AF250 = 344.5 2wd R
    48131-AF290 = 352 2wd R
    48131-AF260 = 348 2wd L
    48131-AF300 = 355.5 2wd L

    48131-AF270 = 356 4wd R
    48131-AF310 = 363.5 4wd R (off road pkg)
    48131-AF280 = 360.5 4wd L
    48131-AF320 = 369 4wd L (off road pkg)

    Sequoia Limited springs:
    48131-AF370 = 363.0mm 4wd R
    48131-AF390 = 357.5mm 4wd R w/air
    48131-AF380 = 371.5mm 4wd L
    48131-AF400 = 365mm 4wd L w/air

    48131-AF340 = 365mm 2wd L
    48131-AF360 = 357.5mm 2wd L w/air
    48131-AF330 = 356.5mm 2wd R
    48131-AF350 = 349.5mm 2wd R w/air

Anyone mind measuring the coil diameter (in mm with a caliper) of a 05+ DC and/or Sequoia? Knowing the diameter will give me an idea if the spring rate is significantly more (or not).

Cool, thanks. Is the Sequoia a limited model and lastly mind counting the approximate # of coils?

I need to bring my calipers home and check my Tundra.

Yea, its a limited, rwd .

sequoia has 8, tundra has 8, and taco has 9
Tundras are progressive, closer coils on top, sequoia and taco spacing is even.

My 05 has 8 coils and 17.8mm O.D., they also don't appear to be progressive.

Anyone figured out the color code for the dots? They may refer to length and/or side.

I remember seeing a list somewhere, a search revealed this link. The info corresponds with .

    2000-06 Tundra Stock 4X2: Drivers: yellow-white, Passengers: blue-white
    2000-06 Tundra Stock 4X4: Drivers: yellow-green, Passengers: blue-green
    2000-06 Tundra TRD 4X4: Drivers: yellow-yellow, Passengers: blue-yellow
    2000-06 Tundra TRD 4X2: Drivers: red-yellow, Passengers: purple-yellow

My 2002 stock 4x2 springs match the above info. I believe if you go with aftermarket springs, it will result in a slight front lean to one side. This spacer is designed to correct that.

First pic is around when I first bought my Tundra, stock everything. Second pic is as it sits today, 5100's all around, fronts on the 3rd clip, ATS HD rear leaf springs 4/1. Before the ATS springs, rear measurements were 21.5" on the drivers side rear and 21 3/4" on the passenger side rear, right after install it sat at 23 1/4" on each side. After several thousand miles it's settled at 23" both rear center hub to fender edge. I never took measurement up front before going with the 5100's, the fronts are currently 21" drivers side and 21 1/4" passenger side.
