Yes, they have worked well so far. My rig has slightly melted oem lenses so the color is an off white

How long have you had them in?
I’m hoping the melting wasn’t from these bulbs lol

LEDs shouldn't melt anything, although they do produce heat, they're nothing close to incandescent levels. LEDs with the resistor built in are nice, but they typically charge twice as much for them, when you can get a set of resistors for under 10$ (but there is added wiring you have to do). As for Amazon led brands, haven't used that particular flavor of chinesium myself, but I've had no problems with auxbeam, sealight, lasfit (seem to be nicer than most). Katana's are supposed to be decent too.

Do you have a top out of the chinesium in your opinion? Hyper flash is currently killing my sequential buzz

No buzzing so far, or issues. The melting I have is from the old bulbs and being outside for its entire life in direct sun.

Not thing I don’t care for is the base of these LED’s. It’s a press in rubber , meaning they don’t click in place like a normal bulb other then that it’s fine so far

    I purchased those before.

The resistor box gets hot as heck and will melt anything it touches or gets near.

The resistor box does not have enough cable lead to be placed or mounted in a “safe” location.

I returned mine for a refund, there was no way to safely use them.

I did the Daytime Running Light Delete Mod, and left things alone.

Did you just de-pin the grey wire or what did you do exactly to eliminate the DRL?

I was particularly impressed with the lasfit leds, they just seemed a step above the other imports. As for your hyperflashing issue, I just threw one of these in my tail light turn signal. Fixed. There's some interior steel plenums inside the light housing of the fender, I just riveted it to that for a heat sink and used some tapcons across the leads (parallel wiring). I used the sylvania resistor 'cause I wasn't feeling patient that night and Autozone had them in stock. The chinese resistors should work fine too.

Did you just go with the amber lasfit or a switchback?

I am honestly thinking it may be easier to delete the DRL all together since the alpharex has its own DRL now

I have different aftermarket headlights than you. I didn't get my hyperflashing until I ran LED's in both the front and rear turn signals, and I put the resistor in with the rears 'cause I already have a ton of extra wiring up front (DRLs, HIDs). It technically shouldn't matter where you put them in, since its just increasing the load on the whole circuit. But with your sequentials, it may take more fine tuning of placement (shouldn't but theory and reality don't always match :D). Normally I'm a solder and heatshrink kind of guy, but for this I went with these Amazon.com: TICONN 240PCS T-Tap Wire Connectors, Self-Stripping Quick Splice Electrical Wire Terminals, Insulated Male Quick Disconnect Spade Terminals Assortment Kit with Storage Case (240): Home Improvement.

Umm, for my front turn signals I think I went with some GTRs, which are a bit overkill, but I needed to spend some cash on an order to get the free shipping =p

Rear turns: Amazon.com: Lasfit 3157 3056 3156 3057 4157 LED Bulb for Turn Signal Blinker Side Marker Light, Bright Amber Yellow (Pack of 2): Automotive

    Rear running/brake:
Amazon.com: LASFIT 3157 3156 3057 3056 4157 LED Bulbs 6000K Super Bright Use for Back Up Reverse Lights, Daytime Running Lights, Parking Lights, Xenon White (Pack of 2): Automotive

For reverse I have those fancy high output GTRs.

Also, for those of us with older Tundras, these are working well for me for a full interior led replacement set on the cheap: Amazon.com: AUTOGINE Super Bright 6000K White LED Interior Light Bulbs Kit Package for 2007-2019 2020 2021 Toyota Tundra + Install Tool: Automotive

Nice headlights, I'll probably get some alpharex one of these days when/if my currents go to shit.

Great info my man. I am still tossing around the idea of the Alpha tail. Honestly I haven’t found a set that I like yet.

Will be ordering that interior set today.

Love the look of your truck she’s beautiful!!!

Got a link for that scoop?

    Thanks!

Like yours too, that a rockwarrior grille? Ya, the hoodscoop, MrHoodScoop Hood Scoops in stock now! painted or unpainted. Free Shipping Call 716-785-3714 or Shop online. is a Mr.HoodScoops HS009. It was the highest quality aftermarket hood scoop I could find, and its got a price to match. They used to have a few styles to choose from, looks like they only have the 1 now. If your interested in getting one, be sure to hit me up before you buy so I can let you know what your in for, it can be a moderate pain in the butt to install depending on the support structure in your hood.
