Thinking out loud here: I've done three water flushes so far. Shouldn't I get water that looks clean at some point?

So far all I've gotten out has been thus dingy looking schtuff. Is it the rubber heater core hoses, and radiator hoses tainting the water?

    20210715_065700.jpg

Oil pressure hasn't changed since my fubar. Dipstick still feels, smells, and tastes of oil. No different color exhausts. Think I'm clear of the ole head gasket.

That's a fancier version of how I was taught to do it with one difference.
    Well, two difference.
    1. Lock the cats inside the house for the day, or until the drainings soak into the gravel. They'll lap up any puddles of coolant.
    2. Drain pan? Nonsense, that's why you have a gravel driveway - it'll soak in with all the other fluids that leak.
    YMMV

That’s what I was wondering. I can’t find the stock length listed anywhere.

maybe the extended splines part means it for long travel

I was wondering if any of you had rebuilt a front door hinge and how you did it or if you have to replace the whole hinge
    Thanks in advance

A jack, a length of 4x4 and a folded up towel helps. Support the weight of the door.

Done them on GM crap before (theirs don't require cutting tho).

I'm back at the Toyota Stealership to see if they can get the alignment right the 2nd time. They have barely any vehicles on the lot. Normally this lot would be completely full.

Was out of town Saturday and Sunday. Got home Sunday night around 9 and looked for the turtle, couldn't find him but saw some lettuce I left out was gone.

This morning while watering the plants I really looked around. Under every plant, looked for tunnels or escape routes, saw nothing. Started getting worried.

Just went outside to throw some trash in the can and on my way in I noticed some plants moving. I thought it was birds because there seemed to be quick motion across a few plants, kind of like when raptors show up on Jurassic Park. I waited and just as I was gonna walk in the house, he popped out of the jungle and into the open grass for some sunshine. Whew. Gave him some lettuce which he just looked at, he doesn't trust me yet.

Didn't know a turtle could be so stressful to keep.

So was he just super well hidden? What do they eat in the wild? I'm curious if they could self sustain off the plants in your yard. I'd love to have an outdoor turtle friend.

    The Dirty T ( ^_^)_且

They are very good at hiding, ours likes to live under my BBQ grill. I'm no expert, but what they eat varies depending on the type of tortoise and environment. Being a desert tortoise in AZ mine would eat grasses and cactus, stuff like that. The one I have must have been a released pet because it had an insatiable desire for canned cat food, which is very bad for them. All I can think of is that it was a captive pet and that is all they feed it, also why his shell looked so bad.

Anyways, over a year, we moved the cat food to an elevated platform and introduced the tortoise to what it should be eating. Got this on Amazon (soak in water, then feed) and also add some fresh veggies every now and then. They like lettuce, but it has almost 0 nutritional value and according to what I've read, should be used sparingly.

Yeah he's damn good at hiding. I bet he is already chomping on my plants but I put lettuce out and its gone now... he is back in the jungle too.

    Good info @Azblue

Edit- I went out to see if I could spot him. While looking at plants I heard noise behind me, he got stuck trying to get behind my reserve of rocks for the fish tank. After work I'm gonna spend a few hours making this yard more friendly.
