First post, jumped my 2009 crewmax on 5100s and now my oil is leaking. Anything I should know? In terms of locating and fixing the problem. I would also like to mention that I just got an oil change which may also be the reason for the leak, but I would like to be sure just in case jumping is the cause.

Hard to just guess where your leak is coming from. Need more info or some pictures to help diagnose.

    "Jump" as in went airborne??

I'd start with checking drain plug tightness and oil filter tightness since the oil was just changed. And check for spills or residual oil laying somewhere from the change.

Please tell me you have video of the jump.

I would inspect the oil pan for punctures. I know that Canguro Racings 200 Series Land Cruiser has had this issue as the motor mounts have enough flex in them that the oil pan hits other components and breaks. Different vehicle but same 5.7 engine.

Lol. Well alright then. Jumping a stock truck on shocks that are barely designed for any real off roading. Not smart. Maybe get under and look? You probably smashed your oil pan. Need to fix it ASAP or your sump may not pick up and you’ll have a whole other set of serious problems.

As in front wheels off the ground more than a few inches? That's how you break mounts, battery cells, crack radiator, etc. You're lucky the airbags didn't deploy and cause you to crash the whole truck.

If you are okay with jumping it, why would you be concerned about a little oil leak??

These trucks are amazingly tough. I've seen them (heavily modified) repeatedly catch 3-4 feet of air w/o issue......But modified, we're not talking 5100s either. So the oil leak is interesting. My guess, loose plug or filter. Also gonna guess that you've bent the coil buckets. They're a weak link in the front suspension. Your camber will tell all.
