I have a 2011 Tundra TRD sport. Added an aftermarket trailer hitch to it a few years back.

Obviously, the tow package is deleted which leads to my question. I am trying to find out if I could pull a travel trailer with my truck and it be safe. The camper is around 6500 lbs.

I am worried that not having the tranny cooler, engine oil cooler, etc. is going to cause problems.

Am I overthinking this, or legitimate concern?

6500lbs loaded? Payload is the biggest issue to work around

Trailer brake control comes with the 7 pin connector, right? I only have the 4 pin.

Correct. You need a 7 pin to connect trailer brakes. You'll want/need trailer brakes with 6500 lbs...
