$83 for a door check? Were talking a flange with 2 bolts and a little arm right?

I mean, what was my option? Everyone said the aftermarket ones suck ass. I agree it's an outrageous price.

On that note, Toyota wanted $32 for a tiny, paper cabin filter for the RAV4. Now THAT's ridiculous. I found it on the Zon for $16.

I don't blame you for getting oem over aftermarket, I would do the same. There are just some parts for our trucks that shock me, it's in line with those window weather strip things on our doors. I still want to replace the rubber straps on my roof channels but they're around $100 each too.

For reference the door stop on the Element was $37 from Honda.

Honestly this is why I've avoided ordering it for months. The little studs on mine are stripped(not my fault for once). So I can't tighten the two little nuts that go on it and I can't install the plates that I bought from that guy to avoid the cracks. I've had to be really careful when I open my door.

Well after a couple years I finally got a Tundra on Monday. It's an '05 AC 4x4 V8 in rough shape. If I can't save it I'll salvage the parts and get another one to build. Started the process of stripping it down today. Rear bumper, fender flares, gas filler parts, and liner are removed and I'm ready to pop the box off (it's scrap metal now). Couldn't find the right torx bit though. It's gotta be a T50 or T55. Anyone know?

Switch pro overhead panel came in today. Switch pro won’t be happening for a while, BUT I figure I’d get this for the eventual install of a switch pro

Removed the box. No saving it. Thanks @JhadTRD , they were T55. But there's always one stubborn bolt. Even the 1400 ft-lb high-torque impact wrench couldn't break one of them free, so out came the angle grinder and recip. Who else is a tool nut?

After that I was able to get a better look at the frame. Despite how rusty it may look to some of you in less rust prone areas, it's better than a lot of them up here. I'm cautiously optimistic about saving this one.
