Hi I just purchased my 2019 tundra I bought out my lease. I only drove 7 000 miles in 2 years I plan on keeping this truck for a long time should I get the extended warranty? And what is a fair price?

Can you give details of the warranty you're considering. Length of time. Components covered.

I've had 8 new-from-the-dealer Toyotas since 1985 (one is a new 2019 with 18,000 miles). Not once have I ever had to say to myself "sure wish I had an extended warranty to cover/fix that."

The bigger picture is with all those vehicles and the 700,000+ miles on them I've never had a major component fail. Or any weird electrical or electronic gremlins. I've just driven the rat piss out of them with routine maintenance.

I have the toyota extended warranty. I've used it twice now, ac components and something else I can't remember. Looking back and how solid the truck has been so far, probably didn't need it. But my truck was also used when I bought it. Cpo owned by Toyota Corp as first owner , but still used

The extended warrantee on my 05 Sequoia paid for itself, brake computer/controller went out, $2,500 to fix it and the other damage. I bought the extended one on my 19 Tundra.

Lots of horror stories out there about extended warranties (those not by Toyota) and their problems....they are very complicated and written by lawyers who have a tight fist on the money the companies will pay for work. Technicians/Mechanics are NOT lawyers and won't fight to get paid (very hard) by warranty companies and will come to you for payment, which stinks. (And I don't blame them...it's a business.)
Only get the Toyota extended warranty if you want one.
