i had an expedition for a day. Picked it up, got it running, it overheated. Water pump was bad. Swapped WP and sold it in the autozone parking lot. Inner door panel, seats, plastics, and alignment were bad. Alot like my sequoia.

The dude drove me and my dog back to grandmas house.

My little brother and I bought our trucks back in 02. He got the 4 door F150 4x4 for $5k less than I paid for my Tundra. He traded in his truck with the 5.4L back in 2018 after fixing a blown head gasket at 75k miles. Mine is still running at 235k+ today. :D

Walked myself into a moral pickle on the valve cover bolt thread.

i know, to each his own, but if a suggestion is dangerous like metal+powertools vs gloved flesh, are warnings required? Should i preface each tip with “grab your gloves and safety glasses?”

I’ve seen people do dumb things. Ive done dumb things. Are internet forums allowed to be the deep end people get thrown into?

or do people deserve more credit, and can handle themselves?

Almost every forum-found DIY I've ever seen has some sort of unofficial disclaimer liability...save the ones I've used.
If people are looking on the internet for DIYs, they ought to know to not just use the very first article they come across.

I removed all the warning labels off my dads mower. He still has all his digits.

but i tuned up his minibike, and he looped it like a squid.

We use military time at work so oh
eight hundred is sonewhat common. Mores so in writing 0800. When spoken we usually just say 8. But like 4pm we just say 16 or 4:30pm 1630. Midnight is 000 or 0000 but the dumbies say 2400

Yeah, my last job was for the State and I have a long background with restaurants. AM/PM was tiresome in restaurants and the State is on 24 hours, so I've been on 24-hour time for ages. I generally don't even think in 12-hour time anymore.

I’d like to see a commercial being made today like this one…I can’t think of a single car that could tolerate the abuse along with a lot of new trucks. :D

That's our grounds crew. Janitorial is good about most things.

Reminds me of the 1993 VFR750, it was a beautiful pearl white but those wheels were a bitch to keep clean.

I had one bright yellow wheel on my 99 GSXR-600 (had it painted to match with the new front fairing after an oopsie). It was a bitch to keep clean. The back wheel was black.

I didn’t even know there were movies. We’re they English dubbed Japanese ones? Please don’t tell me the 2008 Speed racer movie is one of them.

One of the rooms had a life size cut out of Mr Pillow in their window that faced a parking lot, it got me sooooo many times!!! I told the clean up crew I wanted it, but it disappeared when all the kids left:(

Housing is fawking insane right now. Had an insurance agent tell us today that our home (purchased March 1st of this year) is already worth $65k more than what we paid. We don't even have a finished backyard or basement yet.

I feel for you. It was stressful enough when we were looking at that time. I also live in Calirado, where people with money falling out of their pockets show up in busloads each day.

I remember when I lived where you are right now back in 95-96, a coworker was having a 2500 sq ft 2 story house built for $85k just outside of Austin.

Sorry, I thought you lived in Austin. Didn’t notice you listed that as your name. I need my glasses. lol
