Fish and ski for now…. My family is getting to the point they want something more like a ski or wake boat.

We ended up cruising down to the harbor to the host marina late that Friday to check out all the go-fasts for the Poker Run then headed back to the harbor Saturday morning for the blast off.
This boat is an OuterLimits and is the record holder for top speed V-hull. ~180+ mph:eek2:
He was in the back of the pack and after everybody took off, he checked his steering then lit it up. You could hear the turbos spooling up, then nothing but a 30' rooster tail. Took him about a minute to catch and pass all but 1 or 2 boats. He posted a screen shot on FB showing ~130 mph! Bad a$$.

You're close. Bailey Creek. Off of St. Pierre Creek that's just up the South Edisto from Big Bay. Sounds like you know the area? We love it down there.

We had a house in Wyndham for several years. We prefer Edisto over Folly, Kiawah, Seabrook. Hilton Head. Packing for a weekend was a few t shirts. Used to crab in Store Creek with chicken necks on a string and dip nets. Bait shrimp in season. The ACE Basin is one of the most pristine places on Earth.

Funny, my last name is Wyndham. Got me a few discounts at the course but not sure there’s a family relation! You’re right about the ACE Basin. We spend more time cruising around than fishing. Just hope Edisto can continue to keep all the big beach commercialism out so it will always feel and look the same.

You sir have the nicest boat I have seen in a long time. That is one of my favorite style boats. It's my cup-of-tea type of boat.

Thank you Sir. It really suits what we like to do.

We're just now wrapping up 3 weeks in the PNW. She'll be back on the trailer tomorrow morning and headed back to AZ. Every night since 27 June has been spent on the boat.
