Depends on the current exchange rate betwixt game hens and bald beaver pelts.

The closest approximation I can make is my truckee is currently worth 6.3 meelion aftermarket transmission coolers.

CarMax offered 45k for my 2020 Limited Cavalry Blue DC 4x4 with 10900 miles. Bought it for 45.7k 13 months ago.

A month ago, CarMax offered 48k. I should have pulled the trigger then.

Not sure if anyone has tried givemethevin.com. I just sold my wife’s 17 Camry XSE V6 to them yesterday. I tried getting offers from vroom, Carmax, and local dealer trade in values etc. Carmax had the highest offer which was $19,400. They mention they will beat any offer (Carmax for me) by $200 or they will send me a check for $100. I sent all the documentation to them, they came in person, dropped off a check, and you sign over all the paperwork to them. Super easy transaction, just a heads up to anyone trying maximize financial gains in the current situation.

Dealer wasn’t interested but the Insurance company paid for my “slightly” damaged truck. It does give you a pretty good idea of market value where I live.

This. I don't understand this at all. I cannot wrap my head around why you would do that. Like at all.

That being said in my area there are no new vehicles on the lots. Like zero. Couldn't buy one if you wanted to. The used vehicles even are sparce. The ford dealer here literally has zero new vehicles at all. Dodge/jeep house next door has about half to a quarter of their lot and the gm house next to them is like ford, zero. When I went to the toyota dealer recently downtown for service of my ac, they had zero trucks and suvs. The nissan dealer across the street was the same. I was offered 43k and change through a mail offer from the toyota dealer I bought it at , which is 10k more than I paid 2 years ago and 31k thousand more miles than when I bought it. Not looking at selling it , because there's nothing to buy lol

A lot of first time truck owner wants something reliable with impeccable reputation.

I also noticed a lot of current taco owner switching like myself. 3rd gen engine was not comparable to the 2nd gen 4.0… power wise

Last Friday, went to my local dealer where I have bought 3 Tundra's. They started out by telling me I only paid $50,000 for my '20 Pro. Offered me $50,000 for trade. I brought in the window sticker and showed them it was $57,000. They raised it up to offer me $53,000. My truck has 6,500 miles, always garaged.

Now for the kicker. Was looking to trade for '21 black 4runner pro. They wanted to sell a $52,000 msrp vehicle to me for $63,000!! I laughed at them, A LOT!!

The day before I went to a different Toyota dealer in the area, and they offered me $56,000. I didn't get a good vibe at that place and didn't care for the store.

I bought my Tundra a year ago to the day yesterday for $39,213 out the door and sold it to Carmax yesterday for $49,000. Not too shabby!

2018 SR5 CM with the TRD OR package 22500 miles. Bought it one month ago for 43.5K (including the Toyota Platinum extended warranty), was still looking at some 3/4 and 1 Ton GMCs this past week. Even though my Tacoma could tow our current small TT, it was a no brainer to take the trade in for it and apply it to the Tundra (especially when they paid more on trade for a vehicle I owned for 4 years and 60K miles that I used/abused the shit out of).

Local GM dealer offered 42.3K for the Tundra, but will probably keep the Toy for a few years as we save/prepare for retirement and our 5th wheel.

Local dealers all seemed to be around the same price of around $52k offered on trade in. Listed the truck and got several out of state dealers and wholesalers offering between $60-$62k. It really does seem to matter where in the country you are.

    Still rolling stock baby....
Traded my 2019 sr5 crew max 4x4 in for a 2021 chevy ltz crew cab 4x4.

Chevy dealer gave me $43,000 for the tundra, on the chevy they came off sticker $4,000, then $3,000 in rebates before we even walked into the dealership to talk.

Toyota dealer where I bought the truck new, offered me $40,000 and wanted me to pay full sticker plus a mark up for a 2021 trd pro tundra. I passed. I get it, the pro is a in demand vehicle, but then to not match at least what the chevy dealer offered or carvana, which was the same amount.
Then for several days I got some messages from the toyota dealer about how I screwed up, blah blah blah, ya you would have paid full sticker so what its a toyota, made me not regret my choice real fast.

Not bashing toyota, the tundras a good truck, I have had 4 from the same dealership. But I can say I got more options in the chevy for a lot less money than I paid for a SR5 upgrade.

    Just my experience.
