Have you replaced the fuel filter? It could be clogged.

It’s either clog somewhere, or electrical, fuels relay etc

Connection to fuel pump, maybe a lose ground somewhere

The easiest is take the fuel pump and connect to a 12v see if it spins. If it spins that’s mean a lose connection somewhere

My $$$ says it's not the pump. You have a wiring/relay/switch problem somewhere in the fuel pump circuit then. Test it and verify before throwing parts and $$$ at the issue. You need a voltmeter or 12v test light. Follow the wiring from the fuel pump back to the first connection you find and test the electrical connection there. If there is power to that point then you need to keep tracing it back until you find where exactly it is not getting power. Logic is your friend here.

Good to know you solved the issue.

Have you checked to verify that you fully seated the plugs and didn't leave one or more loose and/or the coils are connected to the correct plugs? Sounds like an electrical issue again to me.

A video may help. I'd recommend checking your fuel pressure at the fuel rail and make sure the pressure is in spec before tearing back into the tank/pump or anything else. Just out of curiosity did you verify that the fuel pump installed is the correct one for your application?

Verify pressure, then verify/clean injectors. I dunno about toyotas, but jeeps you build a rig with a water bottle of injector cleaner, a hose, and a 9v battery. Squeeze the bottle to make the flow. Itll also click when you connect the jumer wires to the battery. I dont know if its bad to leave them on, i always flutter the signal.

Yes, he could test the injectors but I don't believe that's the issue. Note that he states in his opening comment that the truck was fine for 2 days before needing to replace the pump a 2nd time. No mention of running issues prior to the 1st pump replacement.

Still worth a test. Maybe the wiggling and jiggling sent some junk down the line?

Possible. There are still some unknowns in this scenario. Fuel rail pressure test will reveal more.

OP, which engine is in this truck? 6 cyl or 8 cyl?

What fuel pump did you use?

Hose not clamped properly inside tank could cause low fuel pressure and rough running issue. Or old hose re-used and developed a leak.

Ok, but did you check your fuel pressure at the fuel rail? If not that is the next logical thing to do. Verify the pressure is in spec then let us know what the pressure reading is and we'll go from there.
