Yeah, very fortunate. Our hydro-electric dams in the area are awesome.

Gas is the best to cook on!!!
Most people want to be on natural gas here; if you have to get propane filled, it’s super pricey!!!
The gas company actually gives you rebates when you install newer/hi efficiency windows, same thing with 80%+ furnaces

Yes it is! A lot of people around here have gas, just for that reason alone.

    1. I purposely got my feet in that shot of the UCAs because I know you weirdos like feet.

    2. People that prefer gas to electric to cook are bad at math.
I’ll argue the grate feels better to set a pot/pan on than the slicktop. But both methods cook equally well/poorly depending on the user.

I've always had a harder time cooking on electric, just because I have a harder time gauging the heat level. I like seeing the flame more than trusting the dial but if you're used to it I don't think either is superior.

It’s been hot as all get out lately, and I’ve got a thing for s’mores………
You can’t roast a mallow inside on electric like you can gas……… just saying…….

We're only bad at math until the power goes out. Then, we can light the burners with a lighter or match and generate heat in the winter, and cook year 'round.

Big shout-out to @Tundradrenalin. Scored an OEM crank pulley for when I do the timing belt job for the mere price of shipping. The OEM pulleys are not cheap.

@FrenchToasty I know you're a bird dude! Here's some shots with a short story, followed by a few brief questions.

There's a couple of birds that are nesting on the smoke shack out front of the plant. I had the great pleasure of watching one of the birds try to catch bugs off the inside of the carport here, and feed the youngins in the nest. There's at least three babies. No feathers yet, just down.

Momma or poppa will fly up to the light, and hover. Hovering and moving about to catch bugs. I thought it was so cool to be stuffing my face while momma was trying to stuff theirs!

Any idea what kind these are? I realize my pictures aren't the best. I did a quick Google, but with no luck.

Any kind of feed I can leave out for momma to give the youngins?

    It’s nice.

but w/e I decide to build will have no basement. Because it will be one massive garage. Because all my hobbies require a garage.
