What have yall named your 1st gen tundras

I was fully aware and didn't respond to the posted question. Just saying that the bold title on the main page is what people see, and they respond. Put 1GT in the title if only 1GT responses are wanted.

I don't call mine anything other than "truck". My best friend lovingly calls it the politically incorrect "Jap-crap". I would get a custom plate with that but too many people would get offended.

We don't. We have a Tundra forum with a first gen section.

 

Not into naming my truck but if I did, I suppose "NottaTurd" would suffice !

 

My 4 runner is called Sandy because of the quicksand color..l. And the Tundra is called WhiteTundies also because of the color…..

 

Maybe a watermark and a picture banner around the post of first gens to authenticate it’s first gen only?

meh, I really don’t care truthfully.

 

I'm not sure why it's hard for folks to know what section they are in. I also don't mind when Turd Gen folks comment in here unless they are giving advice that isn't relevant to our trucks.

My wife named my truck the "Khaki Cruiser"

 

I've always said there are two types of people in this world: those who name cars, motorcycles, etc. and those who don't. I've never named a vehicle. Except once when I rented a trashed Honda 250 and rode it around Honduras for a week and at the end of the week I started calling it Trusty. That was an unusual lapse but it sure was a trusty son-of-a-gun.

Don't get me started on calling cars a she. Oy.

 

Mines (sic) Goldie for obvious reasons . . .

 

I wash mine on 'Sunday Tundy Sunday' . . . and I tell the lady, "No Undies in the Tundies" ! LOL.

 

TRUCK... seems to say it all!

 

i call it, the tundra.

the green tacoma is "truck"
the white tacoma is "white truck"
the red tacoma is "red truck"

avalon is avalon
corolla is corolla.
Mercedes is mercedes

i am very original with my naming as you can see

Nah, 1st gen owners are allergic to other gens. We tend to break out in rashes when they show up.

 

Ironman is the only name that would fit mine.

 

Already taken.... you'll have to wrastle Ivan Stewart for that one.

From now on all red/tan tundras will be called tony.

 

But, that's HIS nickname, not his trucks name. Therfore, I don't think I'd have to fight the legend.

 

Have never named my truck or any vehicle for that matter, but after looking at pictures of all the still pristine looking 1st gen's on this forum I would have to name mine RUSTY!

Actually mines not real bad mainly rusted above both rear wheels. Rest of the truck is pretty good accept for some faded paint.

 

I had an '88 yota pickup with rusted lower bed panels, as was common with those. If you accidentally brushed against it in spots you could cut yourself.
I named that truck 'tetanus shot'.

 

Have you put up pictures? We like pictures. Like, a lot.
