Well guys I actually don’t have a good answer for you haha. I think it looked a little cleaner at the time when I flipped them, they’re just for loading/launching a boat at night. I’m actually gonna sell them, never even got them wired in. Gonna get a toolbox there

So Ipulled the trigger on a couple of upgrades and should be receiving them tomorrow. I was hoping that I can receive some tips on how to install them or anything that can help out. I'm doing the following upgrades.

1- Installing trd pro headlights with @iHacker harness.
2- upgrading LED black fog lights
3- removing chrome exhaust tip and installing black tip. Does anyone know of a spray that would make this easier?

    Thanks

I did the fogs with my son. It's pretty easy. I used this install guide and had no issues.

I've heard that they rattle a lot while on the road. Have you had that happen to you? I seen a video that zip tied them. Do you have a link for the install guide?

I haven't heard a rattle. http://toyotaparts.sparkstoyota.com/install/PT413-42190-tundra-inst.pdf The liner can be a pain to get out, but going slow on the first one helps.

Got a call from a local business that my 2 month wait for window tint became available now, ran the old gas pig over and got the driver and passenger windows done. Now it needs a good wash. Also moved my ToyoMafia badge to the front. Much better.8E35896D-0E8B-4AC5-9774-AB04F1028596.jpg

A much needed wash done, had a lot of bug hits and dirt to take care of. Also trying a new way of doing things instead of waxing. This stuff works great and I'm going to continue to use this only. Took off so many contaminants and stains on the finish, truck looks showroom right now....put it on everything and I love this stuff.

Got me some parts today... Some Toyota OEM Rigid fogs and bezels.... In looking at them there looks to be a place where you can put a screw to secure them to the bezel (doesn't come with any tho). Has anybody done these and did you say screw it? I am inclined to put a self tapper in there... can it hurt anything?

So I used the screws from the original fogs... Perfect

    literally 5 minute install

    20210709_145501.jpg

You don't have to remove the fender liners to install but will need to to adjust them. Another inch of wire would have been nice tho.

Man, those look really good with clear lens on a white truck. I have been looking at these and waiting on Morimoto to release theirs. Do the Hirevs have amber turn signals? I can’t remember if they do or not.

Things done today….removed Tundra badge and finally got around to wiring my pink trigger wire on Switch-Pro 9100 to my high beams. Now all I have to do is activate high beams and my DD 42” light bar and ditch lights come on automatically. Pretty cool feature.

Oh yeah, I also listed my bronze powder coated wheels for sale on marketplace wheels and tires, check em out. I tried to like them more than my Pro BBS wheels but couldn’t. :crapstorm:

Steps look great. To each it’s own on the flares though, I personally would want them smooth without rivets and color matched or none at all. Just my opinion and it’s your truck.

Dropped my truck off at the dealership for its 30k mile service. While in the line for drop off, one of the used car sales guys tried to get me to trade in for a '19 or '20 Pro since they had a couple on the lot. I laughed and told him I've already installed 90% of the "Pro" upgrades, so I'll pass.
